A PUNTER who staked just £2 on the Tote Scoop6 last weekend stands to win over £200,000 if they can select the winner of Saturday's Coral Challenge Handicap (2.35) at Sandown.
Having already got £65,760 in the bag for selecting all six winners last weekend, the anonymous punter, who placed the bet with Coral, will add another £146,667 if they can pick the winner of the bonus race.
With 8-1 the field in the 17-runner, 1m contest, there is still a chance a Scoop6 winner on Saturday could have the bonus pot to shoot fornext weekend.
The races in the Scoop6 take place at Sandown, Haydock and Beverley and include two races with fewer than eight runners - the Coral Charge Stakes and the Coral-Eclipse - which means only the first two home will count forthe place dividend.
Tote Scoop6 races
Leg 1: 2.00 Sandown, Leg 2: 2.35 Sandown, Leg 3: 2.50 Haydock, Leg 4: 3.10 Sandown, Leg 5: 3.15 Beverley, Leg 6: 3.25 Haydock.

THE Scoop6 continues its climb from a relatively low base on Saturday, although with the bonus not won last weekend, there is already £177,910 nestling in that pot.
The wind fund rolls overtoo, building from £72,899, as the six races are all live on Channel 4
"This weekend's Scoop6 could make someone very rich indeed with around £400,000 up for grabs to a single winner," said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Most have possibilities but this could be where the promising BOHEMIAN MELODY takes his major step forward. Greyfriarschorista will be a big threat if performing as he did at the Royal meeting and, of course, further improvement is entirely possible from the very lightly raced Man Of Action.[Richard Austen]

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: A tight Group 2 with a whole host of them within a few pounds of each other. Preference is for PREMIO LOCO, who looks the one to beat on his latest career-best form when winning at Newmarket last month. That was some performance under a big penalty and a reproduction of it can enable him to see off Alexandros and Vertigineux, who are the pick of the opposition.[Mel Cullinan]

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: A big field brings out the best in WIGMORE HALL (nap), who may well have won a Listed race at Royal Ascot last time if he had secured a clearer run up the straight, and he will have to run off a 7lb higher mark in future after that fine effort. Imposing also did not have the cards fall right at that meeting and is 3lb ahead of the handicapper so has to be feared as long as he does not get himself too far behind early now dropping back in trip and he did win over C&D in May. Kings Gambit, Forte Dei Marmi and Sopranist looks the pick of the remainder.[Adrian Cook]

He comes here having followed the same route as last season (Palace House, Temple and King's Stand Stakes) and should get a nice lead towards the inside from the likes of Glamorous Spirit and Masamah.[Steven Boow]

A single winner of this weekend's totescoop6 could land over £550,000 after the bet was not won last Saturday for the second successive weekend in a row.
There is currently a rollover of £175,582 in the win fund whilst the bonus pot has risen to £221,917 after several punters have tried and failed to land it in recent weeks.
This weekend's Scoop6 comes from Newbury, Newmarket and Market Rasen and fans of both codes are catered for with top-class action on the level and over the sticks.
All six races are live on Channel 4 with the highlight the 25-runner Weatherby's Super Sprint where Richard Hannon will be looking to secure an incredible fifth victory in eight runnings.
"The Scoop6 pools are building up nicely and there should be something for everyone this weekend with action from Market Rasen's valuable summer jumps card included alongside some top-class flat racing," said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

THE Scoop6 again eluded punters on Saturday when Hawkeyethenoo's victory at 7-1 in the Sky Bet Dash at York meant the bet rolls over for the fourth week running.
A single ticket remained going into the last leg, but despite a gamble on Lowdown, Mark Johnston's runner failed to justify favouritism and finished well down the field.
A total of £423,844 was bet into the pools and there were 671 winners of the place dividend which paid £126.30. There is now £426,184 in the win fund while the bonus stands at £329,318.
Tote spokesman, George Primarolo, said: "Hawkeyethenoo's success means the Scoop6 hasn't been won for a month now and the combined pools should reach the magic £1 million next weekend."
The Coral punter who won more than £127,000 on Thursday after placing a 5p goliath bet at the firm's branch in Ruislip has come forward, but does not want any publicity.A regular punter who is well-known to staff at the shop, he claimed his winnings on Friday night on his way home from work.
The Tote also reported a huge dividend in the Newcastle placepot of £47,792, which was part won to 45p. £33,008 rolls over to the placepot pool at Ascot on Sunday.

A SINGLE winner of this Saturday's Tote Scoop6 could pocket over £1million if they go on to win the bonus fund next Saturday, after the prize was rolled over for the fourth consecutive weekend.
One punter was left after five legs of the Scoop6 last week, but their selection Lowdown finished last of the 20 runners in the SkyBet Dash, resulting in the win fund for this week swelling to £426,184. The bonus fund has also increased, now standing at £329,318.
With around £400,000 expected to be bet into the Scoop6 pool, the total fund available to an individual winner should easily pass the £1million mark.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "With just under £500,000 in the win fund alone, the Scoop6 pools have reached a sizeable sum and the bet could be on the verge of creating yet another millionaire this weekend."
The Scoop6 once again looks to be a tough proposition.Open-looking handicaps at Newmarket and Goodwood are included, and even if any punters were to successfully navigate their way through the opening five races, the 28-runner Stewards' Cup provides the stiffest test of all in leg six.

MORE than £1 million will be up for grabs on the Scoop6 next Saturday after Palace Moon's failure to win the Bluesq.com Stewards' Cup meant the betrolled over for a fifth week.
Just a single ticket remained on Palace Moon going into the final leg - the Stewards' Cup - after 33-1 chance Hot Spark's victory at Newmarket, but the success of Odds And Evens in the Goodwood handicap ended the punter's dream of picking up £571,211.

A total of £414,362 was bet into the pools, and while the win fund again proved elusive, there were 48 winners of the place dividend, each of whom picked up £1,726.50.
Tote spokesman George Primarolo said: "Although one Scoop6 player managed to get to the final leg of the bet, the majority of punters found it tough going and a combined total of almost £1 million rolls over to a huge afternoon of televised racing next weekend."
In addition to the win fund currently totaling £571,211, the bonus fund has now risen to £391,472.

Saturday's Scoop6 comes from Haydock and Newmarket with all races live on Channel 4. The highlight of thebet sees a field of nine line up for the totesport.com Rose of Lancaster Stakes, where Rio De La Plata will be looking to continue his rehabilitation after dead-heating with Mabait in the Listed Pomfret Stakes at Pontefract last time out.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "After the huge jackpot rollover was finally won at Haydock earlier in the week, punters will be itching to have another crack at a big payday and the combined totescoop6 pools could well reach £1.3 million this weekend."

LAST Saturday's six winning Scoop6 punters, each of whom bagged £142,177, could aim to add a further £512,266 to their haul when they go for the bonus race, the 20-runner William Hill Great St Wilfrid at Ripon, on Saturday. The rest of the Scoop6 features the Group 3 Geoffrey Freer Stakes, the Group 2 Hungerford Stakes and the Ladies Day Handicap from Newbury, plus two races from Newmarket. "We wish all six bonus hunters the very best of luck as they look to take their total Scoop6 winnings to around £650,000," said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo. "Should they fail to pick the winner, then a single winner of Saturday's bet could be looking at a possible £750,000 payout if they land the bonus next weekend." Professional punter Harry Findlay is among the six punters chasing the bonus. Scoop6 races: 2.15 Newmarket, 2.30 Newbury, 2.45 Newmarket, 3.05 Newbury, 3.30 Ripon, 3.40 Newbury.

THE Scoop6 went begging once again on Saturday as punters drew a blank for the second week in a row, meaning a bonus fund which has grown to over £500,000 could set up a potential million pound payout for a single winner of next week’s bet.
Two tickets remained active going into the final leg of Saturday's Scoop6 (Sandown 3.45), one on Judge 'N Jury, the other on Five Star Junior, but the race was eventually won by Sohraab after early leader Judge ‘N Jury faded in the final furlong.
A win kitty total of £197,409 will roll into next weekend's Scoop6, while the bumper bonus pot of £596,870 awaits anyone fortunate enough to successfully navigate next Saturday’s six races.
“The ticket holder who had Judge ‘N Jury in the final leg must have been counting his money half a furlong from home but Sohraab’s late charge has given punters the opportunity to play for an even bigger pot next weekend,” said Totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths.

With the weather having decimated field sizes at Goodwood, this weekend's totescoop6 will take in races from Beverley and Newmarket and the combined win and bonus fund should hit the magic million mark.
The bet rolled over for the second consecutive weekend last Saturday which means there is now £197,409 in the win fund whilst the bonus pot has now risen to £596,870.
The highlight of this weekend's bet sees a field of thirteen go to post for the Listed totesport.com Beveley Bullet Sprint Stakes at the East Yorkshire track where Masta Plasta will be looking to build on his last win at Nottingham for sprint-king Dandy Nicholls.
"The persistent rain may have brought doom and gloom to the country but the Scoop6 could well bring a little ray of sunshine into someone's life this weekend as over £1 million could be up for grabs to a single winner," said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

Two Scoop6 winners pocket over £170,000
THERE were two lucky winners of Saturday's Tote Scoop6, each pocketing a healthy prize of £173,463.10.
It was the first time in three weeks that the win fund has been won, and the two winners now have a chance to add a huge bonus fund to their winnings next Saturday.
That pool stood at a remarkable £852,672 after last week's rollover and swelled to a huge £922,380 by the start of Saturday's first leg.
Bullwhip, at 6-1, took that opening race for William Buick and John Gosden, while the second leg at Beverley went the way of 8-1 chance Shotley Mac.
Those two victories left just 2,249 tickets going on to the third leg at Newmarket, where, despite the well fancied Glen's Diamond scoring at 7-2, just 381 tickets progressed to leg four (3.00 Beverley).
Aattash, sent-off at an astounding 11-1, came up the Beverley hill best to land that leg and just 44 tickets remained at the off of Newmarket's 3.20 (leg five).
The consistent Doncaster Rover sent 12 tickets through to the last, where Mister Hughie got home by a short head to gift the two winners a huge payout.
There were 393 winners of the place fund, each netting a conservative £217.30.
