THE Tote Scoop6 eluded punters for the third consecutive week on Saturday, leaving a swelling win fund of £219,853 to roll over to next weekend, while the bonus fund has grown to £94,223. RELATED LINKS » Results of six Scoop6 races Although one ticket survived to the fifth leg, the majority of punters new their fate after the opening contest, when 33-1 outside The Last Derby struck in the United House Gold Cup, under a fine ride from Grand National-winning jockey Liam Treadwell.
The sole ticket on the Williamhill.com Handicap Hurdle (leg five) rested on Norman The Great, who finished out of the frame, leaving the bet to roll over for the third consecutive weekend.
"Despite a couple of small fields this weekend, the Scoop6 rolls over yet again and a single winner next weekend could well land somewhere near £400,000," said Totesport spokesman George Primarolo.
There were only 116 winners of the place fund, each of whom collected £411.10.

PUNTERS failed to crack the Tote Scoop6 on Saturday and, with no winner for the fourth consecutive weekend, a total of £307,340 in the win fund rolls over to next Saturday. The bonus stands at £131,717.
Ellerslie George's 14-1 victory in Saturday's fifth leg, the Badger Ales Trophy Handicap Chase at Wincanton, landed a killer blow to all the ticket-holders still in with a chance of collecting after the first four races.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "Nine tickets were still in the hunt after Charm School's victory in the November Handicap, but Ellerslie George foiled them all, which means a single winner of next weekend's Scoop6 could well land well over £500,000."
There were 34 winners of Saturday's place fund, each picking up £1,470.30.

This weeks scoop6 Races Leg 1, Cheltenham - 1.55pm Leg 2, Cheltenham - 2.35pm Leg 3, Wetherby - 2.55pm Leg 4, Cheltenham - 3.10pm Leg 5, Wetherby - 3.25pm Leg 6, Cheltenham - 3.45pm
Probably the most publicised tote bet as it is run each Saturday and the objective is to pick the 6 winners of each of the selected races that make up the Scoop 6 on that day. The Scoop 6 races usually are the races shown on terrestrial TV so as to give it the biggest viewership and audience. Channel 4 usually have most of the Scoop 6 races each Saturday and they do an excellent job of keeping everyone informed as to how many tickets remain after each race. Quite often the win fund gets very large with winners, sometimes can take home £500,000 plus. There is also a bonus fund so the winner of the Scoop 6 has the opportunity to select the winner of the most difficult race on the following Saturday, this is an excellent bonus and these win funds can also be very substantial.

PUNTERS failed to land the Scoop6 last Saturday for the fourth weekend in a row, meaning the potential windfall for one lucky punter could be in the region of £600,000.
That consists of £307,340 in Saturday's win fund and a further £131,717 in the bonus kitty, with anyone following up in next weekend's bonus race in line for a payout of over half a million.
Anyone hoping to land the bumper payout will have to correctly predict four races from Cheltenham and two from Wetherby, in addition to next weekend's bonus race.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "The jumps season is well and truly back and Scoop6 players have six top-class races to get their teeth stuck into this weekend. A single winner could well pocket up to £600,000."

The Tote Scoop6 was not claimed on Saturday, offering the prospect of a massive win for a single winner next Saturday.
There is £432,096 in the win fund, which will be carried over along with a bonus pool of £185,184.
A total of £356,446 was bet on the Scoop6 on Saturday and two tickets got as far as the final leg, the novice handicap hurdle that completed the card at Cheltenham. However, Psi was seventh and Alazan ninth in a race won by Zafranagar.
"It was a case of close, but no cigar for two punters, which means there could be around £750,000 up for grabs in next Saturday's Scoop6," said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
There were 62 winners of the place fund, each of whom collected £1,149.80.

AN ANONYMOUS Betfair customer was celebrating a bumper payout after becoming the only winner of Saturday's Tote Scoop6, which netted the player a haul of £644,398.
Tranquil Tiger's surprise defeat of Presvis at Lingfield sealed the win, but it was only confirmed after the Haydock stewards allowed Shining Gale's victory in thefifth leg of the bet to stand following an inquiry.
The winner had yet to register his win with the Tote on Saturday evening, but it is understood to be the same person who collected just short of £1 million last month, winning an initial £671,136 before claiming an additional £287,630 by plumping for the unnamed favourite in the Totesport Cesarewitch, which was won by market-leader Darley Sun. He has a chance to boost this Saturday's winnings by playing for the bonus prize of £276,170 next week.
After a sum of £606,576 was staked on the Scoop6, there were just 11 tickets left going into the final leg, the Betdaq Churchill Stakes won by Tranquil Tiger, although the outcome of the Haydock inquiry had still to be announced.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "Congratulations to the Betfair punter, who has not only won a huge amount from the win fund this weekend but now has a chance to take their winnings to just over £900,000 in the bonus race next weekend."
There were 5,961 winners of the place fund, each of whompicks up £20.30.

ONE punter will look to write his name into the Tote Scoop6 record books on Saturday as he aims to become the first person to win the bonus fund single-handed on two consecutive occasions.
The man, who placed his bet through Betfair, will win £276,170 if he selects the winner of the bonus race - the Hennessy Gold Cup - to add to the £644,398 he won on last weekend's Totescoop6.
He took home the last bonus fund to be won, £287,630, when Darley Sun won the Cesarewitch at Newmarket on October 18 to add to the £671,136 he claimed the previous Saturday.
A win on Saturday will take his total haul to over £1.8m.
Saturday's Tote Scoop6 is made up of three jump races from Newbury and three from Newcastle.

DENMAN'S historic triumph in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury topped up a London Scoop6 player's kitty to a cool £1.8million as his lucky streak entered unchartered territory for the bet. The Betfair customer became the first to single-handedly win consecutive bonus prizes.
Totesport spokesman George Primarolo said on Saturday:"To win the Scoop6 once is a life-changing moment for any punter, but to do it twice in the space of six weeks is nothing short of staggering."
Denman's win added the £276,170 bonus fund to last weekend's haul of £644,398. He won a total of £958,766 when achieving the same feat when Darley Sun took the Cesarewitch on October 17.
Saturday's Scoop6 was not won and £82,597 rolls over in the win fund to next weekend when the bonus pot will start at £35,398.
There were 40 winners of the place fund, each of whom picks up £1,179.90.

THE Totescoop6 was not won on Saturday despite the bet becoming a five-leg affair.
The fourth leg of the bet, the handicap hurdle from Doncaster was declared void afterSpanish Conquest suffered a fatal injury after the first flight of hurdles and blocked the run in to the winning post.
However Khyber Kim's victory in the Boylesports International knocked the majority of punters out of the frame and while 57 tickets went into the sixth and final leg, none were on Calgary Bay who romped to victory in the 3m handicap chase at Doncaster.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "A total of £327,838 was bet into the pool this afternoon which means £319,883 rolls over in the win fund whilst there is still £74,505 in the bonus pot as this afternoon's five-leg Scoop6 did not count for bonus purposes.
"The Scoop6 looked all set to be won after the fourth leg at Doncaster was declared void but Khyber Kim's victory in the Boylesports International means that over half a million could be up for grabs next weekend."
There were 3,296 winners of the five-leg place fund, each of whom picks up £25.30.
