AN all-weather Scoop6 proved a sitting duck for punters on Saturday as no fewer than 21 ticket holders shared the win fund.
After a total of £523,202 was bet into pools the 21 winning tickets each secured a dividend of £23,952 and now have the chance to play for the £152,985 in the bonus fund on December 26.
Tranquil Tiger's narrow victory in the Totesport-backed Quebec Stakes meant that every horse was covered in the final leg at Wolverhampton.
There were 2,045 winners of the five-leg place fund, each of whom picks up £51.10.

THE Tote on Wednesday settled on Kempton's handicap chase as this Saturday's Sccop6 bonus race, but whether there will be 20 or 21 players chasing the £152,985 pot remained in the balance on Wednesday evening.

A William Hill customer who won £23,952 for a £2 bet last weekend, placed in a London shop, had still to register to play for the bonus. The punter has until 4pm on Thursday to register, via 0800 0284418.
This weekend's Scoop6 comprises races from Kempton and Wincanton, with the second leg at Wincantonlive on Racing UK, but not Channel 4.
"We wish all our winning Scoop6 players the very best of luck as they try to make this Christmas a memorable one by landing over £150,000 in the bonus race," said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

THE Tote has embraced the spirit of Christmas where Saturday's Scoop6 bonus race is concerned after a winning punter failed to register by Thursday afternoon's deadline.
The William Hill customer in London won £23,952 for a £2 stake last weekend, but has not returned to the shop to collect, andis possibly unaware that, along with 20 other players, he/she is now entitled to a crack at picking up another £152,895.
Totepool spokesman, George Primarolo, said: "Unfortunately the punter has notcome forward, but we are going to keep the registration line - O800 0284418 - open on Saturday so if they do make contact, they can still register and have a go at the bonus, and it will also be mentioned on the Morning Line."
The Scoop6 comprises races from Kempton and Wincanton, with the second leg at Wincanton live on Racing UK, but not Channel 4. In the event of one of the meetings being abandoned and the bet being less than six legs, winners are not eligible for the bonus.

KAUTO STAR was not the only one to make history at Kempton on Saturday as a London Scoop6 player took his winnings on the bet since October to beyond £2m.
The Betfair customer, already the first to single-handedly win consecutive bonus prizes, improved his record further by picking up the latest bonus kitty of £152,895 after being alone among 20 rivals to select Polyfast, the 11-1 winner of the Williamhill.com - Poker Novices' Handicap Chase.
A £2 Coral client was the only winner of this weekend's Scoop6, which paid £77.035, and he or she now has the chance to go for £33,015 bonus next weekend.
There were 2,995 winners of the place fund, each of whom receives £14.60.
There were two winners of the totejackpot, both of whom had the £63,268 dividend to 50p. They included Nigel Horler, from Telford,Shropshire, who was dining with his family in the panoramic restaurant at Kempton and invested £430 on his bet.
Horler said: "I'm a huge fan of National Hunt racing and not only have I seen in the making with Kauto Star's fourth successive King George, but I've also landed a nice touch on the Jackpot - it's been a day to remember."

SATURDAY'S Scoop6 will be an entirely all-weather affair, with doubts over the jumps action at Sandown, as the popular bet builds from scratch, the win pool having been emptied by a single winner last weekend.
The Scoop6 comprises four races from Lingfield, at least two of which - the 2.10pm and 2.40pm - are guaranteed to be live on Channel 4 regardless of whether Sandown is on or off, and two at Southwell.
The single winner of last weekend's bet looks to take their winnings to over £100,000 in the bonus race, the 3.15pm at Lingfield, after landing £77,035 on Boxing Day.

THE ‘all-weather' Scoop6 eluded punters on Saturday and the single player chasing the bonus fund was also denied, leaving the Tote to suggest as much as £200,000 could be up for grabs next Saturday.
A total of £183,756 was staked on the Tote's pool bet and only one ticket remained on Only A Game going into the final leg at Lingfield, but Peopleton Brook's victory ensured a rollover of £64,314 in the win fund.
The bonus fund rolled over as well after the £2 punter who won last weekend's bet failed to pick the winner of the bonus race after selecting Little Richard who could only finish third.
"The abandonment at Sandown meant that Scoop6 punters were concentrating solely on the all-weather on Saturday but none of them could crack the bet which means that there is likely to be around £200,000 up for grabs next weekend," said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
There were 292 winners of the place fund, each of whom picks up £125.80.

FORMER Flat jockey Tommy Lappin died in hospital in Northallerton in North Yorkshire on Friday night. He was 69 and had been suffering from ill health for some time.
Tommy Lappin: 'loved racing'
Irish-born Lappin spent most of his racing career based at Middleham in North Yorkshire, serving his time with Harry Blackshaw before going on to spend a lengthy stint riding successfully for the colourful Ken Payne, where his riding stablemates included John Curant and Alan Cousins.
His son, Rodney Lappin, a former jockey, who is now assistant to North Yorkshire trainer Alan Swinbank, said on Saturday: "My dad hadn't been very well, so his death wasn't a complete surprise, though obviously when it comes, it's a shock, especially so for my mother, as they've been together since they were 16."
Lappin jnr said: "Dad came over on the boat from Ireland when he was 14. I don't know exactly how many winners he rode, but it was a few hundred anyway.
"He always used to say that Minstrel King was the fastest horse he ever rode, and two others that he spoke highly about were King Of The Road and Idle Dice. He finished riding, I think, in about 1978, but he always loved his racing."
Lappin leaves a wife, Margaret and, apart from son Rodney, also leaves three daughters, Lorraine, Donna and Becky.
Funeral details are to be confirmed within the next few days.

JUMP racing makes its welcome return on Saturday and for five Totescoop6 punters the thaw means that a potential six-figure windfall depends upon their ability to transfer their all-weather success to the turf.
The five people who correctly predicted the Scoop6 winners on the all-weather last weekend must now predict the Williamhill.com Lanzarote Hurdle winner if they are to add a further £103,696 to the £32,984 they each landed seven days ago.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "It's great to see jumps racing back in this country and having shown their aptitude for picking winners on the all-weather last weekend, our five lucky punters now have to switch codes and pick the winner of the Lanzarote if they are to take their winnings to well over six figures."

Leg 2 2.25 Huntingdon

THE switch from all-weather to jump racing proved too much for punters trying to win the Totescoop6 on Saturday with both the win and bonus funds rolling over to next weekend. Five punters were chasing the £103,696 bonus pot in the Williamhill.com Lanzarote Hurdle but none of them picked Micheal Flips meaning the bonus fundhas reached £135,010. There were three tickets going into the final leg of the win prize - one on eventual runner-up William Hogarth but none on winner Novikov - so there is a total of £73,066 lining the pool for Saturday. Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "The return of jump racing failed to produce a winner in this afternoon's Totescoop6 which means that there will be well over £250,000 up for grabs next weekend." kimmypopsracing.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=anyoneforascoop6weeklypu

RACING'S romantics might have enjoyed Our Vic's 20-1 success in the Peter Marsh Chase, but racing's Tote Scoop6 punters did not with the final four live ticket holders wiped out of the bet by the shock winner of the penultimate leg.
As a result, both the win and bonus funds roll over to next Saturday's cards at Cheltenham and Doncaster with a total of £177,524 now in the win kitty and £179,778 in the bonus pot. The Tote predict that next week's Scoop6 could be worth in the region of £500,000.
Saturday's place fund was won 158 times with each winning ticket valued at £377.70.

WITH no winners of last weekend’s Tote Scoop6, the win fund on Saturday – when the six races are split between Cheltenham and Doncaster - builds from £177,524.
As the bonus kitty contains £179,778, a single winner this afternoon could be looking at a £500,000 payout should they also pick the winner of the bonus race in seven days time.
“A total of £500,000 should be up for grabs on the Scoop6 this weekend as punters get a last look at Cheltenham before the festival begins in earnest in a little over six weeks time,” said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

THERE MIGHT have been only three legs operational in the Totescoop6 following the loss of Doncaster, but the win dividend for 114 winners paid £3,372.60 - more than double what a £1 treble would have returned on the winners The Sawyer (11-2), Taranis (16-1) and Tidal Bay (14-1).
On Saturday morning, the bonus kitty contained £179,778 and hopes were high that a single winner could be looking at a £500,000 payout and a chance of picking the winner of the bonus race next weekend.
However, any such dreams were dashed with the abandonment of Doncaster and the winners are not eligible for the bonus rollover.
The place dividend of £15.10 was won by 7,803 punters.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "Punters took advantage of a slightly easier Scoop6 this afternoon after the abandonment of Doncaster and those who managed to pick the three winners at Cheltenham were rewarded with a tidy little sum."

THE Scoop6 will hopefully be back to normal on Saturday, featuring action from Doncaster, Sandown and Wetherby after a truncated three-leg bet was won by 114 ticket holders last weekend.
None of those winners are eligible to play for the bonus fund on Saturday, meaning that pot builds from a healthy £179,778.
"Although the Tote Scoop6 win pool starts from scratch again, there is still a sizable amount in the bonus fund, and anyone winning this weekend's bet could be playing for an extra £200,000 next Saturday," said Totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

EXMOOR RANGER'S agonising last-stride defeat was particularly painful for one Totesport punter as it stopped them from taking the whole Scoop6 pool on Saturday.
RELATED LINKS » Leg 1 result » Leg 2 result » Leg 3 result » Leg 4 result » Leg 5 result » Leg 6 result With three winners at double-figure prices in the first five legs, there was only one surviving ticket going into the final race, the 3m½f chase at Sandown.
The ticket holder had gone for Exmoor Ranger and looked all set to land the £80,460 jackpot as that horse jumped the last fence in the lead only for the 13-year-old Monkerhostin to roll back the years and get up in the last few yards.
The money rolls over into the win fund for next Saturday. A total of £229,886 was staked on the Scoop6 on Saturday, with 91 punters winning the place dividend of £505.20.
