It's set to be a busy afternoon for Ryan Moore as he goes to HQ for a full book of rides, and here you can read the Betfair Ambassador's thoughts of returning home with a winner or two from his eight chances...
13:45 Newmarket - Holland Park
This is the maiden in which I rode Kingman to a debut success last year. I ride Holland Park here, and I see that the stable have won five of the last 10 runnings of this race. I don't know whether that is relevant at all to our chances today - or if their other runner in here is more fancied than mine - as I haven't heard anything about him at this stage. Not that helpful but we know that the stable runners tend to know their jobs first time up, and this one is a 150,000gns More Than Ready colt, so presumably he looks the part and hopefully he should be able to go a bit.
14:20 Newmarket - Tigrilla
I liked her when I rode her to win at Leicester in the soft earlier this month. Yes, this is probably going to be much different ground and stiffer company, but she is a straightforward filly, who will see the trip out well, and the bare form of that win gives her decent claims, and you would hope that there is a lot more to come from her as well. But I suppose that the same applies to a lot of the others in here, the pick of which is probably Queen Mary fifth Littlemissblakeney.
14:55 Newmarket - Battalion
I think William will want there to have been plenty of rain in the run-up to this race, as Battalion didn't appreciate the fast ground when disappointing last time and needs a bit of give to show his best, as he did when winning a handicap off a mark of 102 first time up. I definitely think he is up to winning in listed company, and he has more improvement in him, but fast ground would be a real worry.
15:30 Newmarket - Garswood
Is another horse of mine who ideally would want rain, as his best performances to date - his Lennox win and his Foret third last season - have come with cut in the ground. But he does have form on a faster surface. Hasn't run up to his best in two starts this season, so Richard has reached for first-time blinkers, and if they perk him up then he obviously has a major chance. But this looks a very tight and trappy race formwise.
16:05 Newmarket - Along Again
Clearly has something to prove after finishing last in the Nell Gwyn on her reappearance, where she lost her action and clearly didn't run her race. But she was a decent juvenile, has been working ok recently, and obviously the stable are in good form, so she isn't a forlorn hope by any means. Manderley is the one to beat on her Guineas fourth, but don't rule out a better showing from Dutch Courage stepped back down to 7f. I liked her when I won a 7f nursery over course and distance last season, though I did think she would run a little better than she did at Ascot.
16:40 Newmarket - Empress Adelaide
Proved herself a decent sort with give in the ground last season but ran no sort of race on her reappearance at Chester. I don't know what went wrong there - and the handicapper hasn't even dropped her 1lb for it - but William wouldn't be running her unless she was A1 and he has his horses in great form again after a couple of disappointments at Ascot. Has form on good but would ideally prefer some rain. She is a big filly who will be more suited to this track, too.
17:15 Newmarket - Llanarmon Lad
Ran a good race when chasing home Abseil from off the pace at Epsom last time, and a subsequent 3lb rise in the weights is fair enough. Is improving, the step back up to 1m2f should suit, and he probably has a favourite's chance in here.
17:45 Newmarket - Al Manaal
Needs to step up a lot on her last two runs - she finished last of five in both races - to have a chance here. But if she returns to the form of his Lingfield win last month, then she has fair claims. The second, third and fourth have all come out and won from that race.

Betfair Ambassador Ryan Moore reflects on a fabulous five days of racing at Royal Ascot last week, including his thoughts on his winners, losers, and the horses that he didn't ride that impressed him most...
It was obviously a good Royal Ascot for me, not that I am the type of person who tends to dwell on success too much. In this game, you do your job and move on - and in my case that meant being in the car on Sunday morning and off to Pontefract.
But the Royal meeting was clearly not only great for me personally, because across the board there were a raft of high-class displays.
Kingman's performance in winning the St James's Palace Stakes was out of the top drawer, and it has to be judged as the most impressive of the week. With that turn of foot, I doubt that we will see him beaten again this season.
The Fugue wasn't far off that level of excellence in winning the Prince of Wales's Stakes. Yes, the race was set up very nicely for her, but you wouldn't fancy too many to beat her when she gets 1m2f on fast ground.
Sole Power got the job done very well in the King's Stand Stakes, but the horse that emerged from nowhere at Ascot to announce himself as a real Group 1 player was Eagle Top.
You have to start by saying that, if you were being churlish, you could pick holes in the form of his King Edward VII win.
Adelaide may not have got home, and Scotland finishing third means that you can't rate the performance that highly, but from a visual point of view I think most people thought they were looking at a proper Group 1 horse winning that race.
And I would agree.
Not many horses can do what he did there against a good level of opposition. For him to quicken up as he did, then for William to sit up and take a pull, and then go again, was massively impressive. I am not in the least bit surprised that the King George is apparently on his agenda now.
If he does go there, then he will probably be taking on Telescope, who came good for us in style in the Hardwicke, as we hoped that he would on the faster ground.
Now, I think Harry and the Highclere syndicate have every reason to get excited by a seven length win in a Group 2 in a good time. You just can't knock that.
It wasn't the strongest of races though, and stiffer tasks are in store for him now, so bear that in mind. But you have to be hopeful that he is up to holding his own against Group 1 competition after that performance.
And Arab Spring won well in the Duke Of Edinburgh. That win off a mark of 104 wasn't a shock to us whatsoever, and he was always winning that race from the moment the stalls opened.
He will never win by as far as Telescope did, as he just gets the job done, but I really like this horse. I think that he will be even better as a 5yo next year, and I am sure that the boss will make the right call where to take him next. Don't forget, that was only his fifth run.
We are lucky enough to have some very smart middle-distance horses this season, and Cannock Chase did it very nicely and smoothly in the Tercentenary Stakes.
He is another who will now be tested in much better company but he works as well as any of our horses at home, and is another very good prospect. I think 1m2f is his trip for now, but there is no reason why he won't get further in time.
I said in this column that Integral was my best chance of the week, and she delivered as expected in the Duke Of Cambridge. But the race may not have taken as much winning as I thought, so she is another who, while very impressive here, will have something to prove when stepped up to Group 1 level down the line.
Of the boss's other runners, I thought Bold Sniper ran well considering the slow early pace would not have been in his favour. Perhaps a step up in trip would suit him.
To be honest, I didn't know what to expect from Rizeena in the Coronation Stakes. She obviously had the form to take a hand in the finish at a course she had excelled at, but she hadn't had an ideal 3yo season and it looked a very competitive race, if one lacking a stand-out performer.
The race was a bit of a farce with such a slow early pace but luckily we were in the right place at the right time, and I was just thrilled for Clive.
It is always good to round off the week with a winner, and Pique Sous had the Queen Alexandra in the bag from a long way-out, travelling powerfully throughout and only getting a little tired late on.
There were horses that ran great races in defeat for me, too, with Professor running a blinder in the Wokingham. It may sound like stating the bleeding obvious considering he finished second off a mark of 104 in the Britannia, but Bow Creek impressed and surprised me there and has a good race in him.
I always get confused whether the 1m6f 3yo handicap at York in August is the Mallard or the Melrose - yes, it is the Melrose - and I think that race could suit Venezia, a staying-on fourth in the King George V over 1m4f.
But probably no horse ran better in defeat for me than Due Diligence in the Diamond Jubilee. I thought he ran a massive race, and it would have been very interesting to see how things would have panned out had we all raced in one group.
There was no pace on the stands side where I was, and after about 50 yards I was already five or six lengths down, and it wasn't ideal for me or Music Master.
Music Master was sent on before the 2f marker, perhaps earlier than ideal for him, and when my horse went past him he was still very green in front, and then we met that trouble close home. Were it not for that, then I think I would probably have closed to within a neck at the line, even with the race not being run to suit mine throughout.
You can't take anything away from the winner but it would have been very interesting to have seen what would have happened if I had been drawn on the far side, near the pace. One thing is for sure, Due Diligence ran a huge race for a horse with so little experience.
(*EDITOR - Due Diligence is 5.4 to win next month's July Cup at Newmarket).
The week certainly had its disappointments, though.
Dank had a stiff task on her first start of the season in the Prince of Wales's, but I suspected my fate going down to the start. She was not herself there, and ran very flat in the race itself, too. Maybe she needed the race more than we thought, but whatever the reason, you didn't clearly didn't see the best of her.
I found all the trouble going from a bad draw on Pyschometry in the Sandringham and I certainly think she would have been involved in the finish with a better run; to find so much trouble, and only be beaten four lengths, wasn't a bad effort in the circumstances.
As I said in my column, a lot of people were going overboard about Russian Realm's chances in the Buckingham Palace, and I certainly wasn't convinced that he was the handicap snip many were suggesting. In the end, he ran a respectable ninth, not beaten too far, and can hopefully improve upon that in the future.
And a few of my other mounts ran below par during the week. The likes of Guerre, Merdon Castle and Queensberry Rules - perhaps the latter needs further now - were all disappointing.
Estimate getting beaten in the Gold Cup was probably the low-point of the meeting for me. To get so close to a memorable victory, and lose out, was gutting.
Contrary to some reports, it wasn't all doom and gloom from our camp going into the race. Yes, she didn't have an ideal preparation going into an above-average renewal, but she was fit enough and had been pleasing us in her work, so we were hopeful if not confident.
And she ran a great race, considering she didn't get the clearest of runs. A lot has been made of the fact that I was held in by Leading Light, but just as important was the fact that Missunited came off the rail at the same time and bumped me twice. At the end of a 2m4f race, that is not what you need, trust me.
I suspect that the winner won with a bit in hand - in fact, if we were still racing now, I think he would still be a neck in front of us - but the disappointment of getting beaten there was pretty raw after the race, even if she ran an absolute cracker.
But she ran a great race, as thankfully did a lot of mine last week.

Certerach shoots for Cup glory
Certerach makes his European return in the At The Races Curragh Cup in what could be a prelude to more travel later in the year.
The Melbourne Cup is in trainer Michael Halford's mind, but the campaign starts with this Group Three event.
Halford became only the second Irish trainer to enjoy success on World Cup night when Certerach held off the favourite, Cavalryman, to win Dubai Gold Cup worth over 400,000 euros.
The Kildare trainer explained: "Shane (Foley) picked Dabadiyan (a runner again on Sunday under Foley) as he thought he would be suited to stepping up to two miles.
"Certerach (Jamie Spencer) had won his handicap though and been third to Cavalryman in the Nad Al Sheba Trophy, so he was well entitled to be there too.
"The horses came back to England on the Monday after and arrived home on the Tuesday night, which was great. They got a break then and were freshened up with the ground the way it was. They both like good ground and are ready to start back."
Spencer is on Certerach again and a big rival will be another locally trained runner in Dermot Weld's Pale Mimosa, who missed an engagement in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot owing to the ground.
Weld said: "She doesn't act as well on fast ground so the forecast showers would be welcome. She ran a nice race in the Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan (when third behind Leading Light) and I'd like to think she has improved for that run."
Ballydoyle pair Ernest Hemingway and El Salvador, first and fourth respectively here a year ago, are back again, with the former equipped with a first-time tongue-strap.
Ursa Major and Tarana have been seen in a good light at the Curragh more than once in the past and both hold at least each-way claims on the ratings, while Shu Lewis is another to note.
================================== Gatsby back for more in France
French Derby hero The Grey Gatsby is on course for another trip across the Channel for the Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp on July 13.
Kevin Ryan's Classic winner would be stepping up to a mile and a half for the first time after showing he stays the extended mile and a quarter well with victories in the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly and previously the Dante Stakes at York.
Ryan told Channel 4 Racing: "He worked this morning. He had 10 days off and got very fresh, very quick. The plan is to run him two weeks tomorrow in France over a mile and a half."
The trainer also confirmed his talented young sprinter Hot Streak as a probable for the Darley July Cup at Newmarket.
The three-year-old lost nothing in defeat when third to Sole Power in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot over the minimum trip, and the six-furlong championship now beckons.
"He ran great. He came out of the race very well and hopefully you'll see him here (Newmarket) in a few weeks' time," said the North Yorkshire handler.
================================== Gregorian stars in Buick show
William Buick was in top form with a treble at Newmarket highlighted by the success of Gregorian in the bet365 Criterion Stakes.
Although the weather relented for the Group Three feature, heavy rain had already turned the ground to soft.
Buick was always happy on John Gosden's five-year-old (9-2), who gained the upper hand in the final furlong to register a third Pattern-race success by a cosy length, with Garswood second and Eton Forever third, a further two and a half lengths adrift.
The jockey also struck when Calypso Beat sprang a 25-1 surprise for North Yorkshire trainer Kevin Ryan in the bet365 Empress Stakes.
This Listed contest was delayed by 13 minutes because of a thunderstorm, but there was no real drama in the race as Calypso Beat led just about all the way and ran out a worthy winner.
Buick, who had already opened his scoring when landing the opener on Zephuros for Godolphin, kept the filly up to her work to get home by half a length from Parsley, with Tigrilla another length and a quarter away in third.
Ryan said: "She's very, very tough, but I was very worried when it started to rain. I'm delighted with her."
Sheikhzayedroad (11-2) was an admirable winner of the bet365 Fred Archer Stakes, which was run in a torrential downpour that made life difficult for horses and jockeys.
Cameron Highland made the running until the cavalry arrived two furlongs from the finish, with Sheikhzayedroad pulling out all the stops for Martin Lane to land the Listed prize.
David Simcock's charge won by half a length from Gatewood, with Chancery another three-quarters of a length away in third place.
Evita Peron looked a filly on the upgrade when comfortably dispensing with the opposition in the EBF Stallions bet365 Eternal Stakes.
Fourth in the German 1000 Guineas and having only her fourth career start, the Ralph Beckett-trained 3-1 joint-favourite gave Jim Crowley an armchair ride, powering u p the hill to score by two and three-quarter lengths from Penny Drops, with Swift Campaign a length and a quarter further away in third.
Crowley said: "When the rain came it was grand. It was nice to get some black type with her, and now she'll step back up in trip. There's a bit of improvement there."
===================================== Gomry delivers for Al Shaqab
Sheikh Joaan Al Thani's Al Shaqab Racing silks are an increasing sight on British racecourses and he scored with his first runner at Newcastle courtesy of Al Gomry.
Richard Fahey's youngster was fourth on his initial appearance at York, but was well backed to reverse form with runner-up Short N Sweet in the Betfred/Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Stakes.
Paul Hanagan teamed up with his old boss and settled the 5-4 favourite just behind the pace before smoothly bringing him to lead with a furlong to run, and he was not hard pressed to beat newcomer Gerry The Glover by three-quarters of a length.
The jockey said: "He was doing all his best work at the finish. I like him, he's a nice horse. That's my first win in these colours, too."
Fahey added: "He learned at lot at York and a step up in trip will suit him. He's no superstar but he's quite nice, a type for nurseries."
The trainer, who went on to win the big race with Angel Gabrial, wasted no time in doubling up when Tatlisu overcame Hanagan's mount Muthmir, who was all the rage for the Betfred Half Time In-Play Boosts Handicap but was a little slowly away.
Graham Lee made a mid-race move on Tatlisu (10-1) and quickened up nicely past the front-running Kimberella, and though 9-4 favourite Muthmir threw down a challenge he could not get past and there was a neck in it at the line.
Fahey said: "He used to be a bit of a boy and can still be a bit ungainly. I think Paul moving up on his outside helped as he went on again."
Almargo (11-2) relished the return to seven furlongs in the Betfred World Cup Double Delight Handicap for Mark Johnston and Joe Fanning. A winner over that distance at Epsom on Derby day, he has since been beaten over six furlongs at York before running creditably over a mile in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Fanning kicked three lengths clear over two furlongs out and the race was over as a contest, with Royal Rascal staying on to take second, a length and three-quarters away.
Johnston's son Charlie said: "He's obviously a specialist over this trip. Six furlongs seems too sharp for him and he doesn't quite stay a mile. For a three-year-old he's had a lot of racing."
Ruth Carr's San Cassiano (8-1) won for the third time in four starts in the Betfred World Cup Bet In-Play Handicap under Jimmy Sullivan, and Marco Botti got on the scoresheet when Halation (9-4 favourite) held off Erroneous by a neck in the betfred.com Free Bets Offers Handicap.
==================================== Dan on target for Appleby
Danzeno bounced back from a bad experience on his previous start to take Group Three honours in the Betfred TV Chipchase Stakes at Newcastle.
Trainer Michael Appleby has always had a high opinion of his three-year-old, but Danzeno (9-4) was on a redeeming mission after he hurt himself in the stalls when strongly fancied for a valuable sprint at York just two weeks ago.
Andrew Mullen was able to pick off leader Saayerr at the business end of the six-furlong contest and hold off the late bid of Ruwaiyan by three-quarters of a length. Saayerr was third.
Mullen said: "He's not the easiest - he's a bit head-strong - but, in my mind, I think he'll come on again. Luckily, I got a split just when I wanted one, and he'll improve a lot for this.
"Put him in a nice race against good horses over six furlongs and when we get him to settle you'll see him at his best.
"I think he was still thinking about what happened to him at York, that's why he wasn't keen on going in the stalls. My biggest worry wasn't the race, it was getting him in the stalls."
====================================== Giovanni brings up treble
Aidan O'Brien completed a Curragh treble on a big day for the Ballydoyle battalions when Giovanni Boldini took the Dubai Duty Free Millenium Millionaire Celebration Stakes.
Sent off the 8-13 favourite for the Listed contest, the three-year-old was settled in midfield by a confident Joseph O'Brien, who was content to bide his time when the action hotted up in the straight.
Pulled wide to make his challenge, Giovanni Boldini cut down his rivals in the final furlong and was well on top at the line, winning by three-quarters of a length from Paene Magnus as he followed up his third-place finish in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The father and son team had already won the Irish Derby with Australia, while O'Brien senior was also successful with Fountain Of Youth, who was ridden by Seamie Heffernan.
The trainer reported: "Joseph said he loved the fast ground, but you have to hold on to him for as long as possible as he loves cover. Derrick (Smith, part-owner) was talking about some races in America for him."
Johnny Murtagh will think about running Mutual Regard (8-1) in the Ebor at York after he defeated Edge Of Sanity by two lengths in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship EBF Handicap.
Murtagh said: "We always thought he was a nice horse and he loves fast ground. He could fit into the Ebor."
The day ended with another victory for Leigh Roche, who had earlier won the Scurry on Line Of Reason.
He hit the front shortly after the two-furlong pole on Sparkle Factor in the Dubai Duty Free Jumeirah Creekside Hotel Summer Fillies Handicap and Dermot Weld's 7-2 joint-favourite pulled out all the stops to hold Tobann and Colour Blue by a neck and a nose.
======================================= Fountain springs Sapphire shock
Fountain Of Youth sprung a 14-1 surprise in the Group Three Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Sapphire Stakes at the Curragh.
The Ballydoyle inmate, wearing first-time blinkers, was the outsider of the six-runner field and stable jockey Joseph O'Brien was on Monsieur Joe instead, but he belied his sizeable odds with a big display under Seamie Heffernan.
Fellow three-year-old Extortionist, the 2-1 favourite, held a slight advantage passing the furlong marker, but his lead was eroded late on by Fountain Of Youth, whose previous form this term had been moderate at best over longer trips.
O'Brien snr said: "I was running him over the wrong distances, obviously. I was trying to make him get a mile, but we'll keep at five or six now."
Maarek missed the race after he developed a stone bruise.
Line Of Reason (18-1) defied a 5lb penalty for a recent Thirsk victory to take the 60,000 euro first prize in the Paddy Power Scurry for North Yorkshire trainer Paul Midgley.
The four-year-old travelled powerfully into the lead two furlongs out from his good draw not too far from the stands rail, and dashed clear under 3lb claimer Leigh Roche to score by half a length from the David Marnane-trained Zalty.
British-trained horses also filled the minor places, with Mike Murphy's Discussiontofollow and Richard Fahey's Alben Star third and fourth respectively.
Midgley said: "We've always had a lot of confidence in him and knew when he got fast ground and a fast pace he had a big one in him."
===================================== Kool back on track in Railway
Kool Kompany turned Royal Ascot form on its head as he recorded a fourth win from five starts in the GAIN Railway Stakes at the Curragh.
Richard Hannon's youngster had been well beaten in the Coventry Stakes, in which Cappella Sansevero and War Envoy had finished some way in front of him, but a return to forcing tactics in this Group Two contest made all the difference.
Fran Berry had the 6-1 shot smartly out of the gates to grab the stands rail and dictate matters, and he produced a fine turn of foot from the front to see off f ellow British-trained raider Ahlan Emarati, from Peter Chapple-Hyam's stable, by two lengths.
Cappella Sansevero (6-4 favourite) and War Envoy were big disappointments in the six-furlong event.
Berry said: "He's had the one disappointing run, but I spoke to Richard Hannon and he said you could forget the Coventry as he ran too free.
"The only anxious moment I had was in the stalls - I was just hoping he'd jump well. He wasn't stopping at the line and I don't see why he wouldn't get seven furlongs."
Kool Kompany was introduced at 25-1 for the Qipco 2000 Guineas with RaceBets.
Tommy Stack's juvenile Accepted made a most accomplished racecourse debut in the Dubai Duty Free Full Of Surprises EBF Maiden.
The chestnut son of Approve always held a prominent position but looked there for the taking once 11-10 favourite Cape Clear Island got in the clear a furlong and a half from home.
Wayne Lordan's partner (13-2) responded manfully under pressure and fought back along the near-side rail to claim a short-head verdict, while Fit For The Job was pinched for room on two occasions but nonetheless ran an eyecatching race in third.
Fozzy Stack, son and assistant to the County Tipperary handler, said: "He's a nice horse and has always worked well. We've always thought a bit of him. He was a bit keen and didn't have as much cover as we'd have liked. He could come back here for the Anglesey and maybe the Gimcrack (at York)."
================================== Divine Angel cracks Plate
Angel Gabrial justified strong support to give North Yorkshire trainer Richard Fahey his first John Smith's Northumberland Plate success at Newcastle.
Apprentice George Chaloner produced his mount to head the long-time leader Ardlui inside the final furlong and complete a Gosforth Park treble for Fahey.
The 4-1 favourite veered to the right close home, but he had plenty in hand as he reversed Chester Cup form with Suegioo (12-1), giving owner Dr Marwan Koukash a one-two in this prestigious two-mile handicap.
The winning margin was three and a half lengths, with Repeater (28-1) staying on from last place to take third, some two and a half lengths away. Noble Silk (14-1) was fourth.
Chaloner, who won the Wokingham at Royal Ascot last Saturday aboard the Fahey-trained Baccarat, said: "It's been an unbelievable couple of weeks.
"He's given me a peach of a ride round there. I just tried to let him settle and keep him happy. I couldn't have wished for it to have gone any better. We didn't want to get killed early on, but he's travelled well and picked up lovely."
Fahey added: "I'm absolutely delighted - we're having a fantastic time at the moment. It's one of them races you want to put on your CV and it was never in doubt. He's pretty talented and he does pick up."
The handler has not ruled out a possible tilt at the Melbourne Cup with Angel Gabrial, whose owner has always had grand designs on winning Australia's showcase race.
Fahey went on: "Most two-milers like him don't have a turn of foot, but he does.
"I was delighted when I saw the draw on Thursday, and everything went right, it very rarely does. He maybe got to the front a bit soon because he can run around a bit. Any two-miler that can quicken up like him, though, will always win races.
"George has had a good week, but then we all have. Marwan will probably be thinking about Melbourne now. Whether he'd get in, I don't know, but I'd love to have a runner out there, he's that sort of horse." ================================== Australia day in Irish Derby
Australia gave trainer Aidan O'Brien an amazing 11th triumph in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh as he landed the odds with almost ridiculous ease.
Winner of the Investec Derby at Epsom on his previous start, the colt followed in the hoofprints of his sire Galileo, who took both prizes in 2001, and his dam Ouija Board, who landed the Epsom and Irish Oaks in 2004.
Joseph O'Brien, riding his second Irish Derby winner, sat in third place as stablemates Kingfisher and Orchestra made the running, and he eased closer a quarter of a mile from home before leading a furlong out to score just as he liked by two and a half lengths.
The 1-8 favourite was eased down towards the end, while Kingfisher (25-1) ran on gamely to finish second and Orchestra held third as the O'Brien team filled the first three places.
Australia was sent off at a highly prohibitive price after the race was reduced to just five runners with the late defections of Epsom runner-up Kingston Hill and the winner's stablemate, Geoffrey Chaucer.
However, the expectant crowd got the result they had hoped for as the Ballydoyle inmate completed the Derby double in championship style.
O'Brien jnr said: "This is a very special horse, he was an armchair ride. He has a massive engine and we still haven't seen the best of this horse. I'd love to ride him at a mile and a quarter - I think that's going to be his thing on fast ground.
"His attitude and his pace sets him apart from the others. He's a great mover and he's so well balanced. When I walked him down to the barn and came back before the race for the parade, he'd have stayed asleep.
"The Irish Derby is one of the races you watch growing up. To be riding in the race is a dream and to win it is unbelievable."
O'Brien snr added: "He's got a lot of speed and so much class, it's incredible. He just relaxes in his races. Pace is his big thing, he just travels. It's very strange that he gets a mile and a half, but I would say he will shorten right up after that. I imagine he'll go back to a mile and a quarter now."
Asked about the possibility of Australia running in the Qipco Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on September 13, he added: "I would say he was made for that race, and there's also the Juddmonte.
"I'd definitely think about the Arc, but you wouldn't want to run him in bad ground. He maybe might get a little rest now - the lads will decide that themselves."
Australia has been rated a special horse from his early days, as co-owner John Magnier explained.
He said: "It was very easy to spot Australia at the sales, being by Galileo out of such a famous mare. It was a no-brainer once he looked the part and, medically, he was OK.
"I was confident before the Irish Derby because I'd been listening to Aidan since he (Australia) was a two-year-old. You know Aidan doesn't do that (describe Australia as the best horse he has trained) in an arrogant way. He genuinely believes that and he just wanted to share it with people.
"Some days there would be Press people down there (Ballydoyle) for three and four hours at a time and I guess you wind up, you have to say something, so if he believed he was good, why not say it? It adds a bit of excitement and, of course, it puts 12st 7lb on the horse as it's a stick to beat yourself."

French Derby hero The Grey Gatsby is on course for another trip across the Channel for the Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp on July 13. The Grey Gatsby: Heading back to France Kevin Ryan's Classic winner would be stepping up to a mile and a half for the first time after showing he stays the extended mile and a quarter well with victories in the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly and previously the Dante Stakes at York. Ryan told Channel 4 Racing: "He worked this morning. He had 10 days off and got very fresh, very quick. "The plan is to run him two weeks tomorrow in France over a mile and a half." Ryan also confirmed his talented young sprinter Hot Streak as a probable for the Darley July Cup at Newmarket. The three-year-old lost nothing in defeat when third to Sole Power in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot over the minimum trip and the six-furlong championship now beckons. "He ran great. He came out of the race very well and hopefully you'll see him here (Newmarket) in a few weeks' time," said the North Yorkshire handler.

Tom Dascombe's Brown Panther could drop in trip for the QIPCO sponsored King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot next month. Brown Panther: Ascot and the King George could be on the agenda Owned by Michael Owen, the six-year-old was a leading fancy for the Gold Cup at the Berkshire track last time but connections felt his stamina was stretched to breaking point there as he finished fourth behind Leading Light. The trainer told Racing UK: “He had a really hard race. He didn’t stay and when that happens they really bottom themselves. He was tired but it’s amazing how quickly they recover when they’re fit and healthy. Within three days he was back bouncing and he’s absolutely on fire. “He’s in the King George which if it poured with rain, you’d have to think about depending on what happens with the three-year-olds such as Australia and Kingston Hill. “The obvious race to go for would be the Goodwood Cup, for which you’d think he’d have a favourite’s chance in and he’s also in a Group Two in France over a mile-and-six next weekend.”

Tom Dascombe is pondering at trip to Glorious Goodwood with Showing Character following a sparkling winning debut at Chester. Tom Dascombe: Goodwood plan for Chester winner Sent off a 3/1 chance for the Injured Jockeys Fund 50th Anniversary Novice Stakes, he proved too quick for 4/5 favourite Steve Prescott in the rain-softened ground and scooted away for a four-and-a-half lengths success. The trainer told Racing UK: “He’s been showing bags of speed at home and just half missed the break but was quick enough to get back up there. We pinched the lead and Richard (Kingscote) said turning in he pricked his ears and he was having a look about him so he gave him a belt and that was that. He’s a nice horse. “He’ll go on any ground, we’ll take it one step at a time, but I’d love to run him in the Molecomb at Goodwood. I’m sure he’d absolutely love that.”

1.35, first race
The Stewards noted that the winner, AL GOMRY, had interfered with EASTERN RACER (IRE), unplaced, who in turn interfered with CLASSIC FLYER, placed fourth, who in turn interfered with SHORT N SWEET, unplaced, approximately one and a half furlongs out, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved AL GOMRY’s placing.
2.40, third race
The Stewards noted that the winner, DANZENO, had interfered with SIR MAXIMILIAN (IRE), placed sixth, approximately five furlongs out, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved DANZENO’s placing.
The Stewards noted that Andrew Mullen, the rider of the winner DANZENO, had struck SAAYERR, placed third, over the head with his whip, approaching the final furlong, but after viewing a recording of the race they were satisfied that it was accidental and had not improved DANZENO’s placing.
The Stewards noted that the winner, DANZENO, had interfered with RUWAIYAN (USA), placed second, who in turn interfered with SAAYERR, placed third, approaching the line, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved DANZENO’s placing.
3.50, fifth race
The Stewards noted that NOBLE SILK, placed fourth, had interfered with REPEATER, placed third, who in turn interfered with GLENARD, unplaced, approaching the line, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved NOBLE SILK’s placing.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why REPEATER, trained by David O’Meara, entered the Parade Ring after the signal to mount had been given. Having heard his evidence they found him in breach of Rule (B)27.5 and fined him £140.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why GLENARD, ridden by Graham Gibbons, had failed to parade. They interviewed the rider and the Clerk of the Course. Having heard their evidence they accepted the rider’s explanation that having been given permission to lead the parade he had been instructed by the Clerk of the Course to proceed to the start. The Clerk of the Course confirmed this and added that he had delayed sending the remaining field because REPEATER had not arrived in the parade ring.
The Stewards held an enquiry following a report from the Starter that MAWAQEET (USA), ridden by P.J. McDonald, had been unruly at the start. They interviewed the trainer and the Starter. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the start the Stewards informed the trainer that future similar behaviour may result in the gelding being reported to the British Horseracing Authority.
The Stewards wished to hold an enquiry into the use of the whip by David Allan the rider of ARDLUI (IRE), placed fifth, but were unable to do so as the rider had left the course. They adjourned their enquiry to Newcastle on Saturday 26 July 2014.
4.25, sixth race
The Stewards held an enquiry following a report from the Starter that AMAZE, ridden by Oisin Murphy had been unruly at the start. They interviewed the trainer and the Starter. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the start the Stewards informed the trainer that future similar behaviour may result in the gelding being reported to the British Horseracing Authority.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why AMAZE, trained by Brian Ellison, entered the Parade Ring after the signal to mount had been given. Having heard his evidence they accepted his explanation that having saddled in the saddling boxes he had had to return to the weighing room to replace a girth.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why Silvestre De Sousa, the rider of LICENCE TO TILL (USA), unplaced, had appeared to stop riding approaching the final furlong. Having heard his evidence, viewed recordings of the race and having received a report from the Veterinary Officer, they noted his explanation that the gelding was moving poorly from two furlongs out and he felt that it was prudent to ease the gelding down as he had reported at Scales.

Ryan Moore's busy weekend continues with a full book of seven rides at Windsor this afternoon and here you can read the Betfair Ambassador's exclusive thoughts on all their chances...
14:00 Windsor - Principle Equation
Clearly has a leading chance in this on the form that she showed in finishing second in a maiden here over course and distance on her debut, and more notably when runner-up to subsequent Sandown handicap winner Agent Murphy at Bath last time. Looks to have Venturous Spirit and Alys Love as her main rivals.
14:30 Windsor - Groundworker
I've ridden him a couple of times this season, winning in the soft at Goodwood, and he ran another good race when second at Newmarket last time. Is versatile ground-wise, has gone well here in the past and looks to have a fair chance. It's just a matter of whether he has crept up the handicap too much to get his head in front again.
15:00 Windsor - Dangerous Moonlite
I think the stable perhaps expected a little better from her last week in the Queen Mary, but she ran ok in midfield - she was only beaten seven lengths - and this is obviously a lot easier task. It looks like I have Tuesday's easy Brighton winner Dream Approval to beat but you have to be hopeful, and I imagine the betting will reflect that.
15:30 Windsor - Yenhaab
Don't read anything into the fact that I am not riding Tall Ship, as I couldn't make the weight on 8st 6lb. He shaped with promise when fourth over 1m on his reappearance at Kempton and, being by Sea The Stars, I imagine the step up in trip will suit him well and a mark of 74 is fair. I ride Yenhaab, who has run well at Newmarket and Epsom in his two starts this season. He is lightly-raced and has a chance, though, in truth, any of the six could win this.
16:05 Windsor - Homage
Didn't go on, admittedly in more competitive races, after two good runs at the start of last season. But the handicapper has dropped him 2lb, and he won first time up last year. Has his first start for William since leaving Jeremy's and, although yet to prove he stays 1m, hopefully should go well. Has also been gelded since his last run, I think.
16:35 Windsor - Hedge End
Has returned to form recently, but the problem is that she is now 3lb higher than when second at Goodwood last week and she does meet a couple of potential improvers in The Third Man and Lacock. But conditions should suit and she comes here in good nick, so we will see.
17:05 Windsor - Warrigal
I rode him to win on his debut last year and he put a poor run behind him when just touched off at Lingfield last week. I think he has a fair chance of going one better here, though the progressive Thecornishcowboy will probably have something to say about that.

Kevin didn't have any joy with his selections last weekend, but following some brief reflection on what went wrong and what was learned, he has a couple of selections at the Curragh that will hopefully hit the mark...
Looking Back
We didn't have much joy with the selections at Gowran Park on Sunday, but as always, there was something to be learned from the action.
The draw is always a factor from the seven furlong start at Gowran Park and while Snap Click didn't get the best of trips to the first bend from his poor draw, I wouldn't like to use it as an excuse. He just didn't progress as hoped from his good run at Navan and may be better off back at a mile. The most interesting run in the race came from the David Wachman-trained Right First on her handicap debut and while not many will have missed it, she will be very interesting on her next start, perhaps with a return to six furlongs being ideal.
My description of Hi Emperor as a "moose of a horse" and "simple minded" seemed to raise a few eyebrows, but his run on the day didn't do much to change my view! He perhaps wasn't loving the downhill section of the track and he didn't make Fran Berry's job easy for him, but I'd say if Fran could ride the race again he would have looked for the outer at an earlier stage in the straight as he met plenty of traffic in the final couple of furlongs. All told, I thought he did well to finish as close as he did.
Dave Marnane turned him out quickly and stepped him up to a mile for a valuable handicap at the Curragh on Friday night, but again things didn't go right as he raced freely prior to getting checked just under two furlongs out and finished off well enough once rebalanced.
I suspect he is still off a winning mark, but I also suspect that his ungainly physique and lack of brain power will make him one of those that will need things to be just right for him to show his best, so whether one wants to keep following him in a betting capacity comes down entirely to one's individual capacity for frustration!
This Week's Plays
The first play of the day comes in the Group 3 At The Races Curragh Cup (15:15) and it is just a case of a horse being completely the wrong price. The horse in question is the Monica Dowdall Blake (no relation) trained Shu Lewis and she is mare that never gets credit for what she achieves.
She has run very well in an Irish St Leger and gone close in a November Handicap off a mark of 95 in the past, but perhaps her best effort came on her latest start when she split Missunited and Tarana in a Listed race over this trip at Leopardstown. There was absolutely no fluke about that performance, yet due to her less well-known connections, she is available at more than double the price of Tarana for this race. She may or may not be good enough to hit the frame in this stronger contest, but she has to be supported for a place at a price that is just simply wrong.
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ragusa' Handicap (17:20) is one of the more competitive handicaps on the card, but there is a stand-out bet in it. Last weekend at Down Royal I was very impressed indeed with the Jim Bolger-trained Wexford Town in the Ulster Derby.
He is a full-brother to Trading Leather and had only had three starts in maidens going into the race, but the case for him being well handicapped was clear based on the form of his debut when he finished third in the maiden won by the highly-regarded Free Eagle with him splitting Orchestra and Kingfisher and finishing in front of Third Dimension and Urban Moon.
His disappointing seasonal reappearance at Naas could be readily forgiven as, like his brother, he needs a fast surface to show his best.
Thus, a mark of 83 for his handicap debut in the Ulster Derby looked very workable, but my own view was that he was best watched as it was a very big ask for a horse to win a competitive handicap at a tricky track such as Down Royal on just their fourth start. As it transpired, he did plenty wrong, starting slowly, not travelling overly well and being forced very wide, but he produced a remarkable finishing effort to get up close home and win.
The handicapper couldn't go mad as he only won by a head, only putting him up 5lb, and that was enough to get him into this race off the minimum weight of 8-4. The bigger track and longer trip are sure to suit him and he should be all the wiser after that experience.
While it is a competitive race, I honestly expected him to be put in as the 4.0 favourite this morning, so the early 7.0+ was a very appealing price indeed and anything near 5.0 is value, though I see that price is going fast.
Recommended Plays
Back Shu Lewis 1pt to place @ 5.0 or better - Curragh 15:15 Back Wexford Town 1pt to win @ 5.0 or better - Curragh 17:20

Toormore team play waiting game
Connections of last year's champion two-year-old Toormore are sitting tight on his next run until the horse gives off the right signals.
Despite winning the Craven Stakes on his reappearance, t he Richard Hannon-trained colt failed to sparkle in the Qipco 2000 Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes.
Nothing came to light after Toormore was given a thorough check-up following his run at Royal Ascot, and owners Middleham Park Racing and James Pak are waiting for a positive bulletin from the Hannon camp.
The Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly on July 14 is a possible next start if Toormore sparkles in his home work, while an autumn campaign might be on the cards.
"When Ryan Moore rode him at Ascot he was adamant there was something ailing the horse. He wasn't striding out for him," said Middleham's racing manager, Tim Palin.
"The vets have been in and he's had every test going and they've still found nothing, but Richard Hannon senior said last week that Toormore is moving like a dream.
"Toormore used to be based at Everleigh and now he's gone to Herridge, so he's moved six miles across Wiltshire in the hope that a change of scenery perks him up. Hopefully that will help.
"The initial vibes from the move are that he's settling in well and he's thoroughly enjoying himself.
"We've decided to take a step back and wait for the Hannons to tell us the horse is spot-on, should that happen to be in time for the Prix Jean Prat on Bastille Day.
"If it takes another two months and it's a back-end campaign then we will go along with that. Until his next run we are going to wait for the Hannons to tell us he is in rude health before we fire off our next bullet.
"There were mixed messages about him before Ascot. The Hannons felt they had him in better shape at other times in his career. We were keen to run there, but perhaps we should have been more patient."
==================================== Midgley has Reason to be cheerful
Paul Midgley believes there is more to come from Line Of Reason after the sprinter landed a big pot in the Paddy Power Scurry at the Curragh on Saturday.
The North Yorkshire trainer will wait to see what the handicapper makes of the four-year-old's victory over 22 rivals in a competitive six-and-a-half-furlong handicap before firming up plans, but he reports the gelding to have taken the trip in his stride.
"I can't believe how he's come out of it. He's been bucking and kicking and was really sprightly in the paddock this morning, so happy days," he said.
"He had two long days' travelling and has come out of it great. It was excellent, a great performance. Hopefully he can progress and I can't see why he can't.
"What made him was that he was castrated over the winter and he's big and strong now and is a real good-looking horse.
"We paid a few quid for him (out of David Simcock's stable last year) and he's probably paid that back now in prize money.
"Where we go next would depend on the handicapper. How much he'll put him up, I don't know.
"If he went up to 90 he'd go to Pontefract on July 8 (for the King Richard III Stakes). If he was north of 90 he could go for the Sky Bet Dash at York (on July 26) or the Stewards' Cup (at Glorious Goodwood).
"There are lots of options. The great thing is he's only four and he's progressing."
================================ Kompany shooting for Morny honours
Kool Kompany could get his first chance at Group One level in the Prix Morny at Deauville on August 24.
Connections of the Richard Hannon-trained colt are to consider the six-furlong dash for the speedy colt after he put a disappointing run in the Coventry Stakes Royal Ascot behind him to land the Group Two Railway Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.
"He's bounced back," said Tim Palin, racing manager for owners Middleham Park Racing.
"We made the decision on the day to hold him up at Royal Ascot. We got it wrong and the catch-me-if-you-can tactics seem to work with this horse. He loves to bowl along. He's tough and hard to get by.
"He'll probably have a bit of a break now. On where we go next, there's a few decisions to be made.
"He's not in the Phoenix Stakes (at the Curragh), but the entries have not gone in yet for the Prix Morny and, at the minute, that race would be the next plan.
"I've looked at the profiles of recent winners such as Reckless Abandon and No Nay Never. Both made all and I can see Kool Kompany running a race like those.
"I can see that race suiting him and he deserves his chance in Group One company now. He's been cool in Group Two company, let's hope he can be cool in Group One company."
=============================== War declared as Eclipse contender
War Command is set to accompany stablemate Verrazano to Sandown Park on Saturday as trainer Aidan O'Brien seeks a sixth win in the Coral-Eclipse.
Though the colt has yet to run beyond a mile, he was putting in his best work at the finish when fourth to Kingman in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Verrazano was also in action over a mile at the Royal fixture, where he produced a solid performance to take second place behind Toronado in the Queen Anne Stakes.
The American import has yet to win over the Eclipse distance of a mile and a quarter, but he was successful several times over nine furlongs in his homeland.
"It's very possible War Command will go to the Eclipse with Verrazano on Saturday," O'Brien told At The Races.
============================== Killoran fine after horror spill
Apprentice Sophie Killoran emerged unscathed after a spectacular fall in the closing race at Salisbury.
The 20-year-old was thrown to the ground three furlongs out after the saddle slipped on her mount Dylan's Centenary, doing cartwheels as she hit the turf.
Much to the relief of all looking on, she was quickly to her feet and returned to the weighing room with a smile on her face.
In an unrelated incident half a furlong down the track, Adam McLean came to grief after Permsiri clipped heels with La Napoule, resulting in a broken collarbone.
Clerk of the course Jeremy Martin said: "Sophie got up and she's fine. The doctor believes Adam had a fractured collarbone.
"They were two rather nasty incidents and completely separate, just seconds apart.
"The young man will be off for while, but thankfully it's not too serious and nothing more."
===================================== Fab four for Moore
Ryan Moore was in stunning form at Windsor, recording a four-timer.
The former champion kicked off his afternoon with victory on 8-13 favourite Principle Equation for Ralph Beckett in the opening unibet.co.uk Maiden Fillies' Stakes and wasted no time in doubling up on Sylvester Kirk's Groundworker (10-11 favourite) in the following Unibet By Players For Players Handicap.
It was three from three on the card with Richard Hannon's long odds-on Dangerous Moonlite (1-10) proving a class above her two rivals in the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Conditions Stakes, and the four came up with the impressive Homage (7-4 favourite) for William Haggas in the New Horse Racing Odds At unibet.co.uk Handicap.
It wasn't all plain sailing as there was a momentary blip in the Moore domination when Yenhaab had to settle for second in the Daily Unibet Early Prices From 9am Handicap.
And he made a brave bid for five on the day in the last, committing a fair way out on 6-4 market leader Worrigal in the Download The Unibet Pro App Handicap but having to settle for third behind prolific winner Thecornishcowboy.

Mission just denied in France
Noble Mission suffered a heartbreaking reverse in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud.
James Doyle gave the Lady Cecil-trained five-year-old another tremendous ride from the front and looked all set to claim a second Group One on the bounce as he held a healthy advantage a furlong and a half out, but he found the petrol tank emptying as they headed for the line.
The Pascal Bary-trained Spiritjim got up to spoil the party for Frankel's brother in the shadow of the post, with Siljan's Saga a close third.
Noble Mission was stepping up to a mile and a half after his victory in the extended 10-furlong Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh, and the Khalid Abullah-owned entire had set just steady fractions through the early stages before quickening matters half a mile from home.
==================================== Mekong battles back to score
Mekong River completed a four-timer for Aidan O'Brien with a defiant display in the Friarstown Stud International Stakes at the Curragh.
The three-year-old (5-1) tried to make all under Seamie Heffernan, but was headed by seasoned performer Parish Hall two furlongs out and looked set for second place at best.
However, he battled back gamely on the far rail and regained the upper hand close home to give the jockey a Group Three double following the success of I Am Beautiful. Ebanoran, the 5-4 favourite, was third but never got in a serious blow.
O'Brien said: "He was tough and Seamus gave him a good ride. We weren't sure about the fast ground for him, but on the good to firm ground he seemed to step up. He looks like a horse who will get a mile and a half.
"All the horses are running well and are running consistently now."
I Am Beautiful looked to be the stable 'second string' in the Grangecon Stud Stakes, but she landed a surprise success in a thrilling finish.
With Joseph O'Brien aboard the stable's other runner As Good As Gold, she was sent off a 12-1 shot, and Heffernan gave the daughter of Rip Van Winkle an enterprising ride.
Having led all the way, he kicked for home a long way out and as I Am Beautiful tired she was hard-pressed to hold Jeanne Girl by a short head, with Quinta Verde a further nose away in third.
O'Brien snr said: "That was great. Seamus gave her a very good ride. She had a tough enough race there. I wouldn't mind stepping her up in trip. We might take our time with her now she's won her Group race, and she's very well bred."
================================== Ernest stars in O'Brien four
Ernest Hemingway repeated last year's victory in the At The Races Curragh Cup to provide the highlight for Aidan O'Brien on a day when he landed a fabulous four-timer.
Joseph O'Brien settled the five-year-old (6-4 favourite) in mid-division and after taking closer order going to the quarter-mile pole, he quickened clear to take the Group Three contest in commanding fashion.
Certerach was held up at the rear of the field and made a promising forward move in the straight, but he could not get to winner and finished two lengths in arrears, with the pacesetting Tarana third.
O'Brien snr said: "He loves fast ground, hard ground is the key to him. All his good form has been on that - he is able to quicken and put his toe out. He doesn't get that very often. His last run was in Dubai and he didn't get his ground since.
"At Ascot the only options for him were the Queen Alexandra with a double penalty or the Gold Cup.
"He's very ground dependent and he won't go anywhere unless it's good fast ground. We'll look at the Goodwood Cup over two miles for him."
The Ballydoyle handler, who also won with I Am Beautiful and Mekong River, had already teamed up with his son to strike with Gleneagles, who got off the mark at the second attempt in the Barronstown Stud EBF Maiden.
The Galileo colt went one better than his illustrious stable companion and dual Derby hero Australia, who was second on his racecourse bow in the same seven-furlong heat 12 months ago.
Gleneagles, a full-brother to Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Marvellous, showed the benefit of a Leopardstown debut fourth three weeks earlier with a promising display, despite getting warm in the preliminaries.
O'Brien jnr brought the evens favourite to hit the front a furlong out and gallop on to beat long-time leader Stevie's Wonder by two and a half lengths, with Gleneagles' stablemate Jamaica staying on well for third.
The winning trainer said: "He's very nice and he quickened up well. He came forward lovely from his first run. Six furlongs up will be no problem to him. I think he will get a mile, but any further than that we don't know yet.
"He looks quicker than the filly (Marvellous). We'll step him up to something like the (Group Three) Tyros Stakes (at Leopardstown)."
Gleneagles was given a quote of 25-1 with Paddy Power for next season's Qipco 2000 Guineas. ===================================== Bird perfect in Polly
Thistle Bird dispelled any stamina concerns as she landed a commanding Group One success in the Newbridge Silverware Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh.
The 4-1 shot's previous seven wins had come at a shorter distance, but she stayed the mile and a quarter in no uncertain terms as she took the honours for trainer Roger Charlton and jockey George Baker.
Last year's winner Ambivalent tried to lead all the way but was stalked by Venus De Milo, who went on early in the straight, though the move was covered by a confident Baker as Thistle Bird made eyecatching progress to lead a furlong out and win tidily by two and three-quarter lengths.
Just The Judge put in her best work in the closing stages to finish third, with Ambivalent fourth.
Charlton said: "I'm really delighted. There's not many things trainers get lucky at, but for a mare of that age to win a Group One is hugely satisfying.
"She travelled well and relaxed really well. She doesn't mind whether it's firm or heavy ground. She's tough and she's improving and it says a lot about keeping horses in training.
"She's had a few problems, but she's tough and sound and will be a great addition to the broodmare band.
"We were going to retire her after she finished second in a Group One (Nassau Stakes) last year, but the owner didn't have any other horses with me and I thought she could win good prizes. We delayed putting her in foal and she's done it now.
"It's hard to say (where next), but courses like Goodwood suit and she could go for the Nassau again. We'll pick and choose and take our time, there are lots of nice races around Europe."
Baker, enjoying a fantastic season that has also included a Royal Ascot winner, said: "She travelled well and we got a lovely tow into the race. When she hit the front she was going through the motions, so it was a very good performance."

5.15, seventh race
The Stewards enquired into the unseating of Sophie Killoran, the rider of DYLAN’S CENTENARY (IRE), three furlongs out. Having viewed recordings of the incident the Stewards found that the fall was caused by the saddle slipping. The Stewards were satisfied that the equipment was in a serviceable condition and that the gelding was correctly saddled. Being satisfied that the incident was accidental, the Stewards took no further action.
They further enquired into the fall of PERMSIRI (IRE), ridden by Adam McLean, approaching the two-furlong marker. They were unable to interview the rider owing to his injuries. Having viewed recordings of the incident the Stewards found that the fall was caused by the filly clipping the heels of LA NAPOULE, unplaced. Being satisfied that the incident was accidental, the Stewards took no further action.
They held an enquiry to consider why Patrick O’Donnell, the rider of MERCURY MAGIC, placed second, had waved his whip from inside the two furlong marker. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race, they found him in breach of Rule (B)54.2 and guilty of improper riding in that he had used his whip contrary to the Conditions of the Race. They suspended him for 7 days, on dates to be notified to him by the British Horseracing Authority.

Industry Consultation on the 2015 Fixture List As part of the process of compiling the 2015 Fixture List, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is undertaking an industry-wide formal consultation to establish feedback from the sport's stakeholders and consumers on a range of proposals being developed. While the consultation relates specifically to the 2015 Fixture List, the questions it raises are deemed critical to ensuring that British Racing is able to thrive in the long-term. The consultation focuses on the impact of the fairly recent and significant decline in field sizes and increased number of small fields – across all codes – and the ensuing repercussions on the competitive nature of racing and therefore its attractiveness to the end consumer, including racegoers, viewers at home and in the betting shop, or overseas. The consultation seeks feedback on a range of proposals designed to assist in reversing the decline in field sizes. BHA is keen to address the issue in a collaborative manner, with all stakeholders presented with an opportunity to input and taking responsibility for the sport's long-term success. Members of the betting and racegoing public are also welcome to participate in the consultation. The deadline for responses – which should be submitted to fixturelist@britishhorseracing.com – is noon on Tuesday 1 July. www.britishhorseracing.com/resources/2015-Fixture-List-consultation/2015%20Fixture%20List%20Industry%20Consultation.pdf

My Titania could attempt to get off the mark this term after a delayed start to 2014 in the Kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh on July 20. My Titania is set for the Curragh next month Trainer John Oxx has pencilled in this Group Two contest over nine furlongs for the daughter of Sea The Stars, who made a belated seasonal debut at Royal Ascot last week after she missed both the English and Irish 1000 Guineas. My Titania did make an encouraging return to action, when fourth to Rizeena in the Coronation Stakes, and could now step up a furlong on the way to trying a mile and a quarter, with the Matron Stakes a long-term objective in September. "She's fine. She's had an easy week, but she's in good shape," said the Currabeg handler. "There's a Group Two at the Curragh over nine furlongs for her in three weeks. We'll see. That might be her next race. "The Matron Stakes is a good bit away yet. There was a temptation to move her up in distance in between. "This race at the Curragh, if she can get there in good shape, would be an obvious one."

Wesley Ward is determined to return to Royal Ascot with a bigger and better squad in 2015 after another successful week in Berkshire. Hootenanny scored for Wesley Ward The American trainer added to his list of Royal meeting winners when Hootenanny blitzed his rivals in the Windsor Castle Stakes, with the two-year-old due to return to Britain to run in the Gimcrack Stakes at York. However, Ward could not help but feel there was one that got away as Sunset Glow finished second in the Albany Stakes after the track had been watered on Wednesday evening. "I had an unbelievable time," said Ward. "Racing is my life and Royal Ascot is now a key part of it - each year I want to take better and better horses. "I'm aiming for a bigger pool of horses at home so I have more to choose from to take over, success at Ascot can only help. "I hope to step up the quality and quantity that I take over each year. At the start of the week I felt Sunset Glow was my best chance in the Albany. "She ran a great race but it was unfortunate that they had put lots of water on the track the night before - she needs fast ground as she floats over it. "Take nothing away from the winner (Cursory Glance). She looked amazing and we might not have won even on fast ground, but I would have just liked to have seen her run on a fast surface. "I just had to run her closer than ideal to when she flew over as she got beaten on her first run. If I had my time again I wouldn't have given her that second race."

arco Botti wants dry weather when Dandino has his intended second run of the season in the Princess of Wales's boylesports.com Stakes at Newmarket on July 10. Dandino is expected to come on from Royal Ascot The Newmarket trainer expects the seven-year-old entire to have come on for his first run since the Melbourne Cup in November when he was sixth to the impressive Telescope in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. "We were hoping he would run well and he had been working well," said Botti. "We thought he was ready for the race. It was a fast pace and maybe he just needed it. He had been off a long time since he ran in the Melbourne Cup. "We expect him to improve for the run and we are aiming towards running him in the Princess of Wales's Stakes at the July meeting, if the ground permits. He wants fast ground." Group One-place Euro Charline is set to leave the Botti stable next month and is likely to have her first run in the USA at Saratoga next month. Botti will be sad to lose the filly, owned by America-based Team Valor, who was a close third in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. "It was a great performance at Royal Ascot. She was only beaten three-quarters of a length," said Botti. "I was really pleased with her. She will go to America now and will probably run on the 23rd of July at Saratoga in a Grade Two over the extended mile. Then she will stay there. "It's a pity that we will lose her but it was always the plan."

19:30 Monday 30th June Racing Tips - 30/06/2014
Tumblewind is really tempting at a big price for the Fillies' race at Pontefract but there's a little too much pace on to be confident she'll get home now upped to 6 furlongs. Misplaced Fortune is unlikely to be out of the top 3 but is a 9 year old against some improving rivals and might find something too good. That should be one of the progressive sorts in Ishiamber or Stepping Out. The latter appreciated a step back to 6 last time but had the run of things at Goodwood and probably won't today. A few 3 year old favourites have disappointed in recent years in this too and they don't have the best record in the race. Ishiamba keeps winning and keeps defying penalties and to win carrying 10 stone last time out in impressive style should mean she goes off shorter than 15/2 today. She'll get a strong gallop at the trip which suits her running style and she looks to have been underestimated. There was a huge lay on her this morning which means she's now too big in the market...read into it what you will. Pontefract 16.00 - Ishiamber 1pt e/w
James Tate has hit a few crossbars of late but Ruwasi should score for him today on handicap debut. It may be tactical with just Maxi T likely to go forward and the top 3 in the betting won't want it too quick underfoot. Of them though, the favourite is most likely to handle drying ground given how well he ran on penultimate start and he certainly looks ahead of the handicapper. Air Pilot, who beat him at Thirsk, went on to push Faraaj close in a competitive heat at Epsom off 83 and there should be more to come form Ruwasi off a mark of 80 at 11/8. Pontefract 15.30 - Ruwasi 2pt win
There's something of a rematch at Windsor this evening when Perfect Cracker takes on Red Warrior again after defeating him by a nose over course and distance 3 weeks ago. In the latter's favour this afternoon is a 1lb pull and less pace, which should see the roles reversed. Red Warrior did best of those racing prominently in the race and would likely have won had he not hung under pressure. He's up 2lb but looks open to improvement and 2/1 is very fair. The danger could well be the returning Greeleys Love who was winless last term but looks well treated. He'll have to be ready though and is a little short in the market to be too confident about. Windsor 19.30 - Red Warrior 3pt win

Doubts over Galway Pele goal Rebecca Curtis fears a big hike in the weights may rule The Romford Pele out of the Galway Plate. Curtis had been favouring a crack at the valuable highlight of the seven-day fixture later this summer. But after turning Sunday's John Smith's Summer Cup at Uttoxeter into a bit of a procession, The Romford Pele is likely to have to lump a big weight around the Ballybrit venue, forcing Curtis into a possible rethink. "We'll just have to see what the handicapper does," said the Newport handler. "He won't go over to Ireland if he gets a massive rise in the weights, it would be very difficult to win off nearly top weight. "He's still a novice for next season so he could end up in some good races. If he doesn't go over he'll have a break now as he's been on the go for 12 months. "Races like the Hennessy or some of the better novices will maybe be for him - you just don't know how good he could be, he's only seven. "His jumping can still be a bit iffy but when he gets daylight he's fine. "He could be very good." ====================================== Danzeno tipped for the top Danzeno will not be over-raced this season as trainer Mick Appleby believes he will be even better next year. The three-year-old confirmed the high opinion in which he is held by connections when winning the Group Three Chipchase Stakes at Newcastle on Saturday. He will now have a short break as Appleby comes up with a next plan of attack. There has been plenty of interest in his stable star, but so far potential buyers have not come up with a valuation to make his owners think about selling him. "We haven't really got a next race in mind," said Nottinghamshire-based Appleby. "I think he's the type who'll be better in a better race, there was no pace on Saturday. "He'll have a few weeks off now, but he won't have many more races this year. Next year I think the July Cup will be perfect for him. "Once he learns to settle he'll also get seven furlongs, so that will give us more options. "That's unless he's sold, of course. Hong Kong were circling after he won at Newmarket but they haven't come up with an offer big enough yet. "Now he's won a Group race they'll have to offer a good bit more. "I'm glad he won as I knew his run at York was too bad to be true - he shouldn't have run after banging his head in the stalls." ======================================= Just the job for Hills Charlie Hills can start plotting a campaign for Just The Judge with more confidence after her solid third in Sunday's Newbridge Silverware Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh. It was the filly's first visit to Ireland since she landed the 1,000 Guineas more than a year ago and she stayed on with some purpose to finish three and a half lengths behind Thistle Bird. Hills said: "She wasn't too keen on the firm ground coming down the hill and lost a bit of momentum, but she stayed on well to take third and the great thing is we now know she's effective at a mile and a quarter. "There are plenty of options for her both here and abroad." Hills has a target for his grey juvenile Magical Memory, who was off the mark at the fourth attempt in a maiden at Leicester on Thursday. "He's never come off the bridle in a piece of work at home and has so much speed," the Lambourn handler told www.charleshills.com. "We're aiming him at Newbury's Super Sprint where he should get the breakneck pace he needs. "He barely looks like he's had a race and is developing into a very nice horse." ==================================== Al Kazeem on the comeback trail Al Kazeem is reportedly getting back into the groove on the training front as Roger Charlton prepares the six-year-old for a return to the track. The Beckhampton handler is planning an autumn campaign for the triple Group One winner after he proved sub-fertile at stud. Al Kazeem enjoyed a successful 2013, lifting three races at the highest level, including the Coral-Eclipse, before bowing out with a sixth-placed finish behind Treve in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. The six-year-old colt was retired to the Royal Studs in Sandringham after being bought by the Queen, but after reportedly getting only around 25 mares in foal, he was returned to training in May. "He's starting to train well - he's adapted to his old life as if he hadn't been away from home," Charlton told At The Races. "We are obviously thrilled to have him back in training. "I think he got 25 mares in foal. Who knows whether he'd have been a great stallion, he had all the attributes to be a great stallion. "It's nice to have him back and if we can get him back to Group One level then that would be a huge satisfaction." =================================== Beckett stars in Haydock frame Ralph Beckett could yet run both Talent and Secret Gesture in Saturday's Bet365 Lancashire Oaks at Haydock - but the trainer is waiting on how this week pans out. The pair contributed to the best moment in Beckett's career, when Talent led home her stablemate for a one-two in last year's Investec Oaks. They have followed different paths since, with Talent finishing second in the Ladbrokes St Leger and making her reappearance when fifth in the Coronation Cup. Secret Gesture registered her first victory of the season when taking the Warwickshire Oaks staged at Nottingham a fortnight ago. "We'll see what happens through the week," said Beckett. "They are both in good form and possible runners. "They are owned by different people, so they can both run, but a lot will depend on what the ground will be like." It looks like a good quality renewal of the Group Two, with 16 fillies and mares engaged. They include John Gosden's trio Freedom's Light, Sultanina and Pomology, and the David Simcock pair Moment In Time and Madame Chiang. Narrow Ribblesdale Stakes runner-up Lustrous and Seal Of Approval, who won last season's Qipco British Champions Fillies' and Mares' Stakes, are other notable names. ========================================= Cooler kept on ice for Haydock Luca Cumani hopes the long straight at Haydock will suit Havana Cooler in the bet365 Old Newton Cup on Saturday. The lightly-raced four-year-old ran a pleasing race on his seasonal debut, when third behind the classy Arab Spring in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot. Although Cumani feels a mile and a half is a bit on the short side for Havana Cooler, who is also under consideration for the Ebor at York, he will remain at that trip on Merseyside. The Newmarket handler told "Third place (at Royal Ascot) would have been an acceptable return beforehand. "Even so, we were very encouraged by the manner in which he stayed on over a trip that's a bare minimum for him, in a race which, in truth, suited those horses that had already shown decent form at a mile and a quarter. "He will head next for the Old Newton Cup at Haydock where the longer straight will suit him much better. "Looking further ahead, Havana Cooler will be back at York in August, where he was third last year in the Melrose, and will hopefully improve our fair record in the Ebor. "He's a horse who will benefit considerably from the step back up to a mile and three-quarters." Havana Cooler is one of 33 possible runners in the esteemed Haydock handicap at the weekend. ======================================== Chaucer added to German Derby Aidan O'Brien has supplemented Geoffrey Chaucer for the 145th Deutsches Derby at Hamburg on Sunday. Joining the Ballydoyle runner is the Charlie Appleby-trained Pinzolo, who was also added to the field at a cost of 65,000 euro. An unlucky third in the Derrinstown Derby Trial on his seasonal reappearance, Geoffrey Chaucer came home last of the 16 runners behind stablemate Australia in the Investec Derby, but was hampered during the race and not given a hard time by Ryan Moore. Pinzolo fared a little better in beating two home, having previously accounted for the useful Master Carpenter in the Fairway Stakes at Newmarket. Appleby said of Pinzolo: "All being well, William Buick will ride him on Sunday. "They are saying it's good to soft ground at the moment, it's likely to be a drying week but there are no worries even if they are testing conditions." Leading the home defence is Sea The Moon, an unbeaten son of Sea The Stars trained by Markus Klug. Klug has another contender in the filly Weltmacht, second in a Group Two at Hoppegarten and set to be ridden by Tom Queally. Another major player is likely to be the Jens Hirschberger-trained Wild Chief, who was fourth to The Grey Gatsby in the French Derby. ========================================= Irish Derby talks in the offing Horse Racing Ireland chief executive Brian Kavanagh expects to meet with his counterparts from England and France to discuss the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the end of July. The race at the Curragh on Saturday was rendered relatively uncompetitive in the absence of Kingston Hill, with Aidan O'Brien's Australia cruising to victory unchallenged as the 1-8 favourite from just four rivals, including two from his own yard. Epsom runner-up Kingston Hill was a late withdrawal due to fast ground, and there have been similar defections in recent years from big names such as New Approach and Sea The Stars. One key factor appears to be the lack of French challengers since the distance of the Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) was changed to a mile and a quarter 10 years ago. It was often the case that the Curragh staged a Derby decider between the winners from Epsom and Chantilly. "The reduction in distance of the French Derby is just one of a number of factors," said Kavanagh. "The Irish Derby has been unlucky in recent years that the likes of Sea The Stars, New Approach and now Kingston Hill were all late absentees, although that being said the lack of French Derby winners is an issue. "Racegoers at the Curragh on Saturday saw a great horse, but we want them to see a great race. "It's been 10 years now since the French Derby changed in distance, but in recent years the King George has also had a lack of three-year-old contenders. I think the Irish Derby suffers because there are so many alternatives for the three-year-olds at this time. "Sea The Stars ran in the Eclipse, it looks like Kingston Hill is going for the Grand Prix de Paris. "In the past the Irish Derby was always the title decider, but that is not the case anymore and it's worth looking at. "Not all in France are happy with the change in distance, I've spoke to owner/breeders myself about it and they felt it should have stayed at 12 furlongs because the ground at Longchamp can get very fast in July for the Grand Prix. "Everything needs looking at. "I've been racecourse manager at the Curragh and the ground never gets really fast there, it's like a Links golf course, it's spongy grass, I just think there are too many alternative options. "So while the crowd saw a great horse in Australia, it wasn't a great race and we need to get the opposition to turn up, it's not Aidan O'Brien's fault. "We need to look back at them all and see what can be done because there's a knock-on effect on the King George. "I'll be meeting with my European counterparts at the end of July and that would seem a good time to discuss it." O'Brien himself felt this year's renewal was up to scratch. "If there was 30 horses behind him, the pace would have been the same so there was no difference - it was a proper-run race," he told At The Races. "The quality of the race was a lot higher than anybody thinks." ====================================== Thunder ready to rumble in Eclipse Night Of Thunder has been given the go-ahead for Saturday's Coral-Eclipse at Sandown after impressing trainer Richard Hannon with his well-being. It will be the Saeed Manana-owned colt's first attempt over a mile and a quarter after his three battles with Kingman over shorter distances. After a heavy defeat in the Greenham Stakes, Night Of Thunder turned the tables at the perfect moment when galloping to a 40-1 success in the Qipco 2000 Guineas. He performed very well in their rematch in the St James's Palaces Stakes at Royal Ascot but was ultimately beaten by two and a quarter lengths. "Night of Thunder definitely runs at Sandown," the trainer told www.richardhannonracing.co.uk. "Kingman is very good and put us firmly in our place at Ascot, so rather than take him on again we are going up in trip. "Night of Thunder ran all the way to the line at Ascot and I walked off the stand convinced that it would be worth trying him over further, and when Hughesie (Richard Hughes, jockey) got off he was of the same opinion, as was Bruce Raymond, Saeed's racing manager, so we are giving it a go." Roger Varian was forced to make a late decision to scratch Kingston Hill from a rematch with Australia in Saturday's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby. Varian had been concerned about risking him on quick ground at the Curragh and pulled him out after a walk of the course on the morning of the race. The Epsom runner-up and Group One-winning juvenile has a number of entries in races like the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot and the Juddmonte International at York. Kingston Hill has also been confirmed for the Eclipse, according to Varian, but plans are fluid. "I don't know what we're going to do yet," said the Newmarket handler. "He has been left in there (Eclipse) just to keep our options open." Night Of Thunder and Kingston Hill are two of five three-year-olds left in among the remaining 12 possibles. Last season's Dewhurst winner War Command, Godolphin's True Story and Mark Johnston's Somewhat make up the quintet. Along with War Command, Aidan O'Brien has left in Queen Anne Stakes runner-up Verrazano. Adding to the Irish challenge is Jim Bolger's Trading Leather, winner of last year's Irish Derby. John Gosden's The Fugue, hugely impressive winner of the Prince of Wales's Stakes but last in the Eclipse last year, is the only remaining filly in the field. Sir Michael Stoute may run Hillstar, runner-up to Telescope at Royal Ascot, while Mukhadram could again line up after finishing third to Al Kazeem 12 months ago. Andrew Balding's Tullius and the Gay Kelleway-trained Zambucca are also in the mix. Dee Stakes third Somewhat was last seen finishing down the field in the Tercentenary Stakes at Royal Ascot and is likely to help ensure there is pace in the race for True Story. Speaking at Pontefract, Johnston's son Charlie said: "He's very well and actually ran better than his position would suggest at Ascot (behind Cannock Chase). "He'll be there as a pacemaker but he'll be there to run his race as well. I think that type of role will suit him fine. We know he stays a mile and a half well. "The ground will hopefully be quick and he'll do his job for them and hopefully he might pick up some prize money." ======================================= King George possibility for Panther Tom Dascombe has not ruled out giving Brown Panther a second attempt at winning the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on July 26. Such a decision would make it very likely the versatile five-year-old would not defend his title in the Goodwood Cup. Brown Panther, who is joint-owned by Michael Owen, pursued the staying route this season and won the Henry II Stakes at Sandown before finishing fourth in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot. "He didn't quite stay in the Gold Cup and now we've got to decide what we are going to do with him," said Dascombe. "There's the Goodwood Cup again and he's in the King George. "We'll have to look and see what is going to be supplemented, what's going to run and what isn't going to run, but the race is cutting up a bit. "You'd say we'd obviously go for the Goodwood Cup, but if it poured with rain for the King George at least we've got the option anyway. "He's never run a bad race at Ascot. He was only beaten four lengths by Danedream in this race (in 2012) and he's a better horse now than he was then."

Luca Cumani hopes the long straight at Haydock will suit Havana Cooler in the bet365 Old Newton Cup on Saturday. Havana Cooler finishes behind Arab Spring at Royal Ascot The lightly-raced four-year-old ran a pleasing race on his seasonal debut, when third behind the classy Arab Spring in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot. Although Cumani feels a mile and a half is a bit on the short side for Havana Cooler, who is also under consideration for the Ebor at York, he will remain at that trip on Merseyside. The Newmarket handler told "Third place (at Royal Ascot) would have been an acceptable return beforehand. oler "Even so, we were very encouraged by the manner in which he stayed on over a trip that's a bare minimum for him, in a race which, in truth, suited those horses that had already shown decent form at a mile and a quarter.

The Fugue is 7/4 favourite with Sky Bet for Saturday's Coral-Eclipse after 12 stood their ground at the six-day stage. The Fugue: Heads Eclipse dozen John Gosden's mare bounced back to winning form at Royal Ascot last time when beating Magician and Treve in the Prince of Wales's Stakes. Saturday's Irish Derby winner, Australia, was taken out as expected, leaving Aidan O'Brien with two potential runners; Verrazano (4/1) and War Command (6/1). Both will be stepping up in trip from a mile after good efforts in defeat at Royal Ascot. Night Of Thunder (11/4) is another about to try a mile and a quarter for the first time following his defeat to Kingman in the St James's Palace Stakes. Check out the latest Eclipse betting with Sky Bet! Sir Michael Stoute's Dank is another notable absentee and her trainer relies on Hillstar (20/1), second to impressive Hardwicke winner and stablemate Telescope at the Royal meeting. Kingston Hill (8/1), withdrawn from the Irish Derby at the weekend because of the fast ground, could take his chance, while fellow Newmarket-based horse Mukhadram could represent William Haggas. True Story (10/1) and Somewhat (66/1) are other three-year-olds that might line up at Sandown, with Zambucca (150/1), Tullius (20/1) and Trading Leather (20/1) completing the 12 entries.

Kingston Hill could take his chance in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse at Sandown after missing the Irish Derby at the weekend. Kingston Hill: Still has the Eclipse as an option Trainer Roger Varian was forced to make a late decision to scratch his star three-year-old from a rematch with Australia in Saturday's Irish Classic. Kingston Hill has confirmed for the Eclipse, according to Varian, but plans are fluid. "I don't know what we're going to do yet," said the Newmarket handler. "He has been left in there (Eclipse) just to keep our options open."

16:15 Tuesday 1st July Racing Tips - 01/07/2014
Victory Laurel is interesting on British debut for Robert Cowell. The first time visor could just ignite that spark which saw him win an Italian Group 3 and he 's a worthy favourite. Tangerine Trees is 4 from 4 here and this is easier than his last 2 starts but he does look out of form. So too Hopes N Dreams at 10/3 who is 5 from 6 here and has Paul Mulrennan back on top and they are 2 form 2 together, both at this track. Tangerine Trees has not led of late and if the mare can get a lead she could be hard to peg back. A bit of company will be fine as she has done all her winning at 6 and she's not badly off at the weights given her sex allowance. Hamilton 15.45 - Hopes N Dreams 1pt win
Master Bond will be tough to beat today if returning in the same form as when beaten at York over 6 last time. He shaped nicely and a drop to 5 looks about right. The worry is the ground and it could be a problem for a few of them. One that will like the drying conditions is Ingenti at 8/1. The yard haven't had a winner in some time but they don't have many runners and this one is back off his last winning mark. Two efforts this term have come on softer than ideal and he's a course and distance winner with Kevin Stott on top. There's not a great deal of pace on either and there's a chance that something dropping in trip may not get the required test. Hamilton 16.15 - Ingenti 1pt e/w
