Hi Kim
Hope you had a good weekend. We had a nice winner with 'Flicka Williams' returning at 3/1. Not great racing today so there are no selections.
Football Tip: There is a F.A cup replay tonight between Brackley Town v Gillingham . Brackley don't have a keeper and are leagues below Gillingham. They have had 3 out field players training in goal this week! but it looks like they maybe starting with one of the young lads. Gillingham are available at 4/5

Officials at the Professional Jockeys Association have stressed they are keen to see all relevant documentation relating to claims made in the Indian media over riders Martin Dwyer and Paul Mulrennan. Mulrennan: Indian media report he will be called back to the country Reports in the Mumbai Mirror suggest the jockeys will be asked to return to the sub-continent by Royal Western India Turf Club stewards to answer allegations arising from what is claimed to be a taped recording of a conversation between the jockeys dating to February 13, 2010 and regarding the Eclipse Stakes run the following day at Mahalaxmi racecourse. Dwyer has recently brought to an end a long-running saga from a race at the same racecourse earlier this year, which at one stage saw him facing an eight-month ban before successfully asking the British Horseracing Authority not to reciprocate the original 56-day suspension. Paul Struthers, chief executive of the PJA, said: "Neither Martin nor Paul, nor the PJA, have had any correspondence or contact whatsoever from the Royal Western India Turf Club. We are disappointed and concerned that the RWITC seem intent on playing this out through the media and both jockeys forcefully deny any involvement in the serious allegation that has been made against them. "Having seen the latest article that has appeared in the Mumbai Mirror we have raised our doubts over the provenance of the alleged recorded conversation and have made appropriate enquiries of the RWITC. "The RWITC has been informed that once we have received a satisfactory response and once we are in receipt of all of the evidence that they rely upon - including an unedited copy of the recording and the transcript - both jockeys will make themselves available to be interviewed in Britain by the RWITC and will be legally represented at any such interview." Quoted in the Mumbai Mirror, RWITC chief stipendiary steward Pradyumna Singh said: "The stewards have directed me to send a copy of the CD and its transcript to the BHA for their information. I will be seeking legal opinion from the club's advisor and, if approved, will send copies of the CD and its transcript to the BHA and ask them to assist us in delivering the evidence to Dwyer and Mulrennan. "A show cause notice will also be served on the two jockeys and they will be asked to appear in person before me within three weeks." BHA spokesman Robin Mounsey said: "BHA has not yet received formal contact from RWITC on this matter. Should the matter be raised officially then we would assist where appropriate with any enquiries

Next year's fixture list of 1,464 meetings has been confirmed, with a total of 39 racecourses signing up to the prize money agreements with the Horsemen's Group and the British Horseracing Authority. A total of 53 of 58 courses have now signed agreements or commitments over prize money, with Catterick, Hexham, Plumpton, Redcar and Towcester in discussions with the BHA regarding their prize money. Four of the courses are in talks with the BHA via the Racecourse Association, while Towcester is separately in discussions. Philip Freedman, chief executive of the Horsemen's Group, said: "Together with BHA, we set out on this process with the objective of achieving a significant uplift in prize money through the development of a collaborative approach between racecourses and Horsemen, as well as ensuring that a racecourse's own payment of prize money became a contractual commitment rather than a discretionary payment. "As a result of the signing of these Prize Money Agreements, together with other increases the process has yielded, the anticipated uplift will hit its target, with racecourse's contribution increasing by almost £5million. That is welcome news for all of the sport's participants." Paul Bittar, chief executive of the BHA, said: "We are pleased that a total of 39 racecourses have now signed Prize Money Agreements. By doing so they have exhibited an understanding of the advantages of aligning their interests to those of the Horsemen's Group for the next three years and the mutual benefits this will bring all within the racing industry. "We will be engaging with the remaining five racecourses so as to fully understand their position and why they could not sign ahead of 2014." Stephen Atkin, chief executive of the RCA, said: "The RCA has been assisting the independent racecourses with their separate but parallel discussions with the Horsemen's Group and BHA. Whilst it has been a time-consuming process, we are pleased with the progress made and it is good news that a further eight courses are now in a position to sign Prize Money Agreements. "We are in constructive dialogue with the Horsemen's Group and BHA regarding the remaining four RCA members, each of whom in the coming weeks are due to make firm prize money commitments to BHA for 2014."

Officials at Ascot are not anticipating any weather-related problems ahead of the high-profile two-day fixture later this week. Ascot: No weather worries at this stage Forecasters have warned of sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow hitting parts of Britain during the coming days, but Ascot's clerk of the course Chris Stickels is confident racing will not be affected in Berkshire. The track is due to stage a six-race card on Friday before Saturday's excellent fixture, featuring the Amlin 1965 Chase and the Coral Hurdle. Both feature events have been re-opened until Tuesday after attracting only seven entries each, but quality line-ups are anticipated. Paul Nicholls has already revealed stable number one Daryl Jacob will be heading to Ascot to ride Al Ferof in the Amlin 1965 Chase and Zarkandar in the Coral Hurdle. Stickels said: "I don't think there is going to be anything to trouble us. They are talking about the odd wintry shower in the middle of the week, but nothing of any great concern. "Dawn temperatures could get down to zero and we could get the odd ground frost, but we're not expecting anything severe at this stage."

DAILY MAIL.
According to connections, PETER’S FRIEND (Southwell, nap, 2.40) is reportedly up for sale so another victory today could well see an upturn in interest in the gelding.
As a son of Gentleman’s Deal, the selection was always going to be seen to best effect on a synthetic surface and he ran out a tenacious winner on his last visit to the Newark venue.
A 5lb rise in the handicap shouldn’t really halt his progress and it will be interesting to see how much improvement Michael Herrington can cajole from his lightly-raced charge.
Michael Appleby has appeared keen to mix and match the tactics with BE ROYALE (Wolverhampton, nb, 7.30) on the all weather this winter.
Having blasted the four-year-old from the front at Kempton on his penultimate start, Be Royale was ridden with patience over an extended mile at Dunstall Park last time and was unlucky to run into traffic problems.
He returns to 7f this afternoon and looks to have a handy draw if his rider wants to ride him handy.

14:50 Tuesday 19th November Racing Tips - 19/11/2013
Michael Blake's 6 year old mare Bathwick Junior should prove difficult to beat today at Lingfield and I think she should be a little further ahead of her challengers in the market. Currently 3/1, she enjoys plenty of cut in the ground and can defy a 7lb rise for a comfortable victory last time at Chepstow. She did the same last season first time out when scoring at Plumpton before failing when sent off favourite next time. However, that was over 3 furlongs further and she looks a safer prospect over this minimum trip. The danger could come from Proud Times who has an extra 3lb on his back after a win over 21 furlongs at Plumpton. Ground will be a plus but it is questionable as to whether this trip suits. Voltchesko is worth watching on handicap bow but he needs to show a fair bit more to be competitive here and is too short at 10/3. Lingfield 14.50 - Bathwick Junior 2pt win
Global Warming may well win this afternoon at Lingfield and he is certainly due a success. There are, however, just too many question marks hanging over him to have any confidence at 5/2. He is lightly raced but is not certain to like the ground and I remember talking to Emma Lavelle last term about her horses waiting for better ground. He didn't travel at Exeter over this trip in January and that can't be put down to just poor stable form. Dermatologiste stays all day and will see out a real test here but it's not often wise to side with her on reappearance and she is 3lb higher than the mark she recorded her last 2 wins from. Roseneath is not what you'd call progressive but he does go very well first up in November, for which his record reads 211. At 8/1, he looks the bet of the race under the interestingly booked Paddy Brennan. He is not proven on heavy but has won on soft and the last time he faced these conditions was off 17lb higher in a far classier affair. Lingfield 13.20 - Roseneath 1pt e/w

The Giant Bolster is likely to have a new jockey on board when he lines up in the Betfair Chase at Haydock on Saturday. The Giant Bolster: Jockey options remain open Second and then fourth in the last two runnings of the Cheltenham Gold Cup, David Bridgwater's stable star is ready to make his seasonal return after missing the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby due to a minor setback. But with The Giant Bolster's regular rider Tom Scudamore committed to riding Dynaste for boss David Pipe, Bridgwater is considering jockey options for his charge. Tony McCoy partnered The Giant Bolster when he was pulled up in the King George VI Chase at Kempton last Christmas, while Richard Johnson and Denis O'Regan have also been mentioned as possible riders. Bridgwater said: "He's grand. He's in brilliant form. "It looks as though we're going to have a change of jockey. I think we're almost sorted, but it's top secret at the moment. "Obviously we'd like Tom to ride, he is his ride at the end of the day, but it doesn't look as though he'll be available. "It's not a selling hurdle at Plumpton, so we're not going to be short of options. "I think AP (McCoy) might be available, Denis O'Regan might be available, Richard Johnson might be available and Sean Quinlan might be." The eight-year-old ran an excellent race to finish third in the Betfair Chase 12 months ago and Bridgwater would be delighted with a similar result. "I'll be delighted if the horse runs as well as he did last year and we pick up just over £20,000 for finishing third. That would be a really nice start to the season," he said. "I'm never confident, always hopeful." Owner Robert Waley-Cohen said Long Run is "on target" to compete in what looks an outstanding renewal of the Merseyside feature. Nicky Henderson's 2011 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner has finished runner-up in the last two renewals and will aim to go one better, despite having finished a laborious fifth in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on his seasonal bow at the beginning of the month. Waley-Cohen told the Daily Mail: "It is the Gold Cup without Sir Des Champs, but so far everything is on target for Long Run. "He has a good track record and will benefit from having had a run, even though he only ran properly for two and a half miles. But it is still better than not having had a run. "He schooled really well with Yogi Breisner in the indoor arena last Wednesday and he worked well on Saturday. The reports are good." Noel Fehily will ride last year's winner Silviniaco Conti and told At The Races: "I've won two on him over hurdles and I loved him when I won on him at Ascot three years ago now. "When he won the Persian War at Chepstow, he had horses like Captain Chris behind him and when he won at Ascot as a four-year-old that was a good race. "He always looked a horse full of potential and I can't wait to get back on him again." Pipe decided to skip last weekend's Paddy Power Gold Cup with Dynaste and instead will tackle the best chasers around on Saturday. For Scudamore, the race will answer lots of questions. He said: "It's the first big test of the year for everybody. "With Bobs Worth and Silviniaco Conti in there you've got the Gold Cup horses returning, and the likes of Dynaste, one of last year's star novices, taking them on."

Willie Mullins' exciting mare Annie Power is among just seven possible runners in Saturday's Coral Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday. Annie Power: Ascot option The Grade One contest was reopened for an extra 24 hours after insufficient entries were received but no more contenders were forthcoming. Annie Power could be one of the future stars of the National Hunt game and is unbeaten in her seven races to date, signing off last season with a Grade One success at Faiyhouse and has been introduced into the market for the StanJames.com Champion Hurdle at 20/1 by Sky Bet. Mullins has also entered Zaidpour, winner of the Hatton's Grace last season, in the same Rich and Susannah Ricci ownership, Paul Nicholls has entered Zarkandar, who only only met with defeat once last season when fourth behind Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle. He later stepped up in trip at Aintree to beat The New One. Another interesting entry is Jeremy Scott's Melodic Rendezvous, who had been in the mix for the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle next week. Nicky Henderson has picked out Rolling Star from his huge team as his possible representative while Charlie Longsdon has entered Magnifique Etoile, who returned from a lengthy absence with a win at Stratford. Karen McLintock's Bygones Of Brid completes the list.

"Auroras Encore doesn't like the very soft ground we're having at the moment but hopefully he'll be back around Christmas." The Sky Bet Trophies for the leading trainer and jockey on Yorkshire racecourses during the 2013 Flat season went to Richard Fahey and Danny Tudhope with 65 and 44 winners respectively on the county's tracks this year. Malton-based Fahey is the top trainer on the Yorkshire racecourses for the fourth time (having also won in 2008, 2009 and 2010) while Tudhope, who won this award for the first time last year, retains his title. Keith Reveley and Denis O'Regan were respectively the top trainer and jockey in the jumps competitions. Reveley gains his first trainers' prize with 14 winners, while O'Regan also partnered 14 winners to claim the riders' award for the third time. Former Cheltenham Gold Cup-winning trainer, Peter Beaumont, was presented with a special Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the sport, especially in the county. Beaumont produced a number of big-race winners from his base at Foulrice Farm, Brandsby near York, including Jodami, the winner of Cheltenham Gold Cup in 1993, Hussard Collonges, JJ Henry, Young Kenny and Bobby Grant.

12.10, first race
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider the apparent improvement in form of the winner, HUSSAR BALLAD (IRE), ridden by P J McDonald and trained by Mel Brittain, which had never previously been placed. They interviewed the trainer’s representative, who stated that the gelding had benefited from its first run on the Fibresand surface. Having heard his evidence, they forwarded his explanation to the British Horseracing Authority so that the previous performances of HUSSAR BALLAD (IRE) could be reviewed.
2.40, sixth race
The Stewards held an enquiry into the use of the whip by Liam Jones, the rider of the winner, DANDYS PERIER (IRE), from approximately 2 furlongs out. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race, they found him in breach of Schedule (B)6 Part 2 in that he had used his whip above the permitted level. The Stewards suspended Jones for 2 days as follows: Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 December 2013.
3.40, eighth race
The Stewards held an enquiry into the reason why SHELLEY BIRKETT, the rider of HANNAHS TURN, and Chris Catlin, the rider of ALL RIGHT NOW, had entered the wrong stalls. Having heard evidence from the Starters and viewed recordings of the start, the Stewards found that the stalls had been labelled incorrectly at the back. Being satisfied that the riders had not been at fault, the Stewards ordered a report to be sent to the British Horseracing Authority.
The Stewards held an enquiry into the fall of Robert Havlin, the rider of FAIR BUNNY, as the gates opened. They interviewed the rider. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the incident, the Stewards found that the fall was caused by the filly ducking her head under the stalls gate as the start was activated, causing the rider to become unseated. Being satisfied that the incident was accidental, the Stewards took no further action.

DAILY MAIL.
There was little doubt events conspired a little against SURPRISE VENDOR (Hexham, nap, 2.40) at Kelso last time.
While he was probably beaten fair and square by a nice type in Clondaw Knight, a slip on the bend before jumping the sixth last cost the selection valuable momentum and it was too his credit that he stuck to his task to claim second.
That was his first outing following a lengthy break and Surprise Vendor is entitled to strip sharper for the outing at a track which holds decent memories for him.
IF SO (Lingfield, nb, 2.30) was reportedly difficult to train as a young horse but there is no doubting the improvement she has made since tackling a synthetic surface.
The daughter of Iffraaj is unbeaten in a couple of starts at today’s track and posted another creditable effort over 6f at Kempton last time when chasing home Forest Edge.
Her conqueror has won again since and she should be highly competitive this afternoon if running to the same level and speed figure.
Tony McCoy gets a good tune from DORMOUSE (Warwick, 12.50) as figures aboard the gelding of 11210 suggest.
The topweight also loves Warwick so it’s a fair assumption that today’s race has been the plan for some time.

McCoy update Following a fall at Fakenham this yesterday, Tony McCoy will have to pass the doctor to fulfil his rides at Warwick today. His agent Dave Roberts doesn't envisage any problems. "He's fine and will be riding today," he said.
If he passes the doctor.

19:30 Wednesday 20th November Racing Tips - 20/11/2013
The Listed contest at Kempton today should be won by Graphic and he is well worth a bet. Cheekpieces have improved him no end and his only loss since their introduction came in a very competitive Cambridgeshire. However, short odds have done me no favours this month and we have some clawing back to do. Tullius is too close in the market to the favourite to back, though he does have a solid chance. Of more interest are Galician and Enrol. The former should ensure, with the favourite and a few others, that they go along at a decent clip and she should be in the frame come the finish. However, she didn't really have excuses last time in this class and preference is for the Stoute filly who I don't think we have seen the best of yet. She wants a good gallop in order to settle and cheekpieces may also help with that. This trip looked fine last time but she had more to do than Galician and finished strongly behind those that raced more prominently. She is often well supported and is therefore bigger in the market than expected at 14/1, though this is her toughest ask yet. Kempton 18.30 - Enrol 1pt e/w
Another strong and very backable favourite at Kempton is Deserted who had no luck last time over a furlong shorter at the track. The race was run at a very modest pace and was over 3 seconds slow and Deserted did well to come from off the pace after being hampered. Scottish Star also ran over the trip last time, in a faster time, but very much had the run of the race and you have to think he is vulnerable off this mark, though will very likely be placed. He and a couple of others are likely to race prominently and that should suit Presburg who was a place behind Scottish Star last time but came from further back. He has the help of Oisin Murphy's 5lb claim today and, though the 2 didn't have success on first attempt together, it all happened a bit quickly for him that day and this should be more his trip. At 10/1 he still looks on a workable mark, especially considering his rider. John Biscuit is another that should appreciate a stronger pace than he had last time but it still may not be strong enough if held up as usual. Kempton 19.30 - Presburg 1pt e/w

Australia: Sheikh Mohammed's training operation in Australia needs a new trainer after Peter Snowden quit the role.
Snowden began training for the racing superpower in 2008, but will start a partnership with his son Paul after the Sydney Autumn Carnival finishes in April next year.
He has saddled 28 Group 1 winners for Sheikh Mohammed and expressed his thanks at the opportunity he has had.
"It has been a rewarding six years and I am proud of all that we have achieved," he said.
"It is the right time to move on with my son Paul and take on a new challenge. It is something we have always wanted to do.
"With an operation like this it is only fair that there is plenty of time for a transition. Sheikh Mohammed has provided me with an amazing opportunity and I will be forever grateful."
Snowden, who trained Sepoy to win the Golden Slipper for Sheikh Mohammed in 2011, added: "When the time comes we will deal with the farewells but for now my focus is on producing results for Darley."
Helmet and Denman are other horses Snowden has excelled with and Henry Plumptre, managing director of Sheikh Mohammed's Darley organisation in Australia, paid tribute to the outgoing trainer.
"Sheikh Mohammed is very grateful to Peter for his efforts since joining Darley," he said.
"Peter's record speaks for itself and we have been very fortunate to have him as our head trainer. His legacy will continue as we benefit from the offspring of champion colts Sepoy, Helmet and Denman."

Willie Mullins has given Annie Power the green light to take her chance in what promises to be a fascinating Coral Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday. Annie Power: Set to run at Ascot The exciting five-year-old stretched her unbeaten run to seven with a breathtaking Grade One victory at Fairyhouse in March and was the surprise name among seven entries for this weekend's Grade Two contest when they were published on Tuesday. Annie Power now looks set to put that unbeaten record on the line against the Paul Nicholls-trained Zarkandar, whose only defeat in five starts last season came when fourth behind the Mullins-trained Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham. Mullins said: "It looks like we'll go to Ascot. She is well in herself and wherever we go we are going to meet something good so we think Ascot might be as good a starting point as any. The conditions of the race are also a good help as she only gets a half penalty." Mullins also has Zaidpour engaged in the race, but he is unlikely to join Annie Power in the field and will instead be aimed at the Bar One Racing Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday week. Mullins said: "I doubt Zaidpour will go. I think he'll probably come here for the Hatton's Grace." Jeremy Scott earlier expressed some reservations about running stable star Melodic Rendezvous at Ascot if a clash with both Annie Power and Zarkandar looked likely. However, he said later on Wednesday afternoon: "There is still no decision, but the owners are very keen to go (to Ascot)." Other options for the Elite Hurdle winner are the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle on Saturday week and the Gerry Feilden at Newbury two days earlier. "The thinking of entering him on Saturday was that if Newcastle don't get the rain, the ground will be good for the Fighting Fifth and that would suit My Tent Or Yours," said Scott. "Annie Power is well suited by the conditions of the Ascot race and Zarkandar is as good a horse as there is over two miles and three furlongs, so we'll have to decide which way we're going to go." The sponsors make Annie Power the 11-10 favourite, ahead of Zarkandar at 11-8 and Melodic Rendezvous at 9-2. Coral's David Stevens said: "It's great news that Annie Power looks set to put her unbeaten record on the line this weekend, as her presence would certainly give Zarkandar plenty to think about. "In fact, such was the impression she made last year, added to the fact she would be receiving plenty of weight from the Aintree Hurdle winner, we had no hesitation in making her favourite for Saturday's race
