Owner Roger Brookhouse is looking forward to his Grade One bumper winner The Liquidator making his hurdles debut at Carlisle on Wednesday. The five-year-old was one of the leading bumper horses last term, winning a big prize at the Punchestown Festival in April after finishing fourth in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. Despite reaching such a high level at that discipline, trainer David Pipe gives the exciting prospect a low-profile first taste of jumping in public in the 13-runner Get Free Bet With bookmakers.co.uk Novices' Hurdle. "I'm looking forward to it very much. I've not seen him school at home but I've spoken to David a time or two and he says it's gone well," said Brookhouse. "He's done very well so far and he's a nice horse. David usually likes to start off low key. It looks a good place to start and we'll see how he gets on." Opposition includes the Jonjo O'Neill Spookydooky, who has had the benefit of a spin over hurdles at Chepstow, Vinstar from Donald McCain's yard and Alison Hamilton's Damascus Steel, a winner over hurdles at Hexham.

Catterick Bridge, 29 October 2013
12.50, first race
The Stewards noted that the winner, THE HOODED CLAW (IRE), had interfered with ANGEL FLORES (IRE), placed second, in the final furlong, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved THE HOODED CLAW (IRE)’s placing.
2.20, fourth race
The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference approaching two furlongs out. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that LLEWELLYN, placed third, ridden by Adrian Nicholls, had interfered with MAGGIE PINK, unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen. The Stewards found Nicholls in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he made a manoeuvre towards the stands rail thereby causing interference. They suspended him for 7 days as follows: Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13, Thursday 14, Friday 15, Saturday 16, Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 November 2013.

4.00, sixth race
The Stewards considered the apparent improvement in form of the winner, TOM BACH (IRE), ridden by Liam Treadwell, and trained by Hywel Evans, compared with its previous run at Newton Abbot on 11 October 2013, where the gelding was pulled up. They noted the trainer’s explanation that TOM BACH (IRE) was better suited by the heavy ground and steadier pace. They ordered TOM BACH (IRE) to be routine tested.

4.40, first race
The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference just inside the final furlong. They found the interference was accidental.
5.10, second race
The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference in the home straight. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that JINKER NOBLE, placed second, ridden by Pat Cosgrave, had interfered with JUNGLE BAY, placed third, ridden by Ted Durcan. The Stewards found Cosgrave in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he manoeuvred between horses when there was an insufficient gap. They suspended him for 2 days as follows: Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 November 2013.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why Charles Smith, the trainer of ALPHA TAURI (USA), had failed to fit the declared tongue strap. Having heard his representative’s evidence they found Smith in breach of Schedule (B)4 5.2 and fined him £140.
6.10, fourth race
The Stewards noted that DAWN CALLING (IRE), unplaced, had interfered with LIVING THE LIFE (IRE), placed third, who then interfered with the winner, RUWAIYAN (USA), shortly after the start but after viewing a recording of the race they were satisfied that it did not involve a riding offence.
6.40, fifth race
The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference in the final furlong. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that BYRON GALA, placed second, ridden by Luke Morris, had interfered with EARTHFLIGHT, placed third, ridden by William Carson, and that the interference had not improved BYRON GALA’s placing. They ordered the placings to remain unaltered. The Stewards found Morris in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed the colt to drift right without sufficient correction. They suspended him for 3 days as follows: Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 November 2013.

14:00 Wednesday 30th October Racing Tips - 30/10/2013
Amulet is one of those horses that has turned a corner and struck up a beautiful partnership with jockey Shane Kelly. Their recent form reads 1211 and the fact that she has only to defy a 6lb penalty for a 9 length win last time means 6/4 favouritism comes as no surprise. Add to this the fact that there really is only 1 other guaranteed front runner and she looks a good thing. However, this is her toughest task to date and there are a few dangers off reasonable marks and dropping in class. The most likely of those to have the race run to suit is Dolphin Rock at 18/1 who is reunited with Dale Swift after failing on quick ground in a very classy contest last time at Newmarket. Placed on 7 of 10 starts together, including 3 wins, the pair will likely race prominently and any form of a battle up front will suit given that Brian Ellison's 6 year old has won over 10 furlongs. The key is that Amulet is not allowed to dominate and the yard has been in good form of late, sending out some decent priced places without quite getting their noses in front. He hasn't won on soft but has gone close and cut in the ground certainly suits better than quick. If they do go a gallop then the ones to pay attention to could be Topamichi and Le Chat D'Or but a stern test looks unlikely. Nottingham 14.00 - Dolphin Rock 1pt e/w
A strong pace looks very possible in the second of the 5 furlong handicaps and the pace may be forced by plenty of those towards the top of the betting. West Coast Dream will be right up there, as will Barbs Princess, Indian Tinker and possibly Beau Mistral, all of whom have a great chance. Foxy Music is definitely bigger than he should be at 20/1 given a very creditable run on penultimate start at Ayr before probably finding the ground a little quick last time. He is back to a workable mark but needs to be left alone up front and that doesn't look likely. Either way, he is worth a nibble at a price. The one I want to side with is Keep It Dark for a yard bang in form. He has been flying with Barry McHugh on top of late and should appreciate a strong gallop on testing ground at 7/1. He won last time on soft off 5lb lower and that came over Newcastle's testing 6 furlongs so he's likely to need every bit of today's 5. He's nicely drawn with pace either side and should have more to come before the season is out. Nottingham 15.05 - Keep It Dark 1pt e/w
I'm not really one for an antepost bet because of defections and ground uncertainties but we are close enough to the weekend to think Harry Topper will go off shorter than 8/1. The Irish contingent are likely to swerve the race and Kim Bailey's 6 year old, who is an almost certain starter bar 5 days of sun, should be 3rd in the betting on the day. Rain is forecast for Saturday, plenty of it, and that will suit this horse who is still unbeaten on completed starts over fences. He wasn't travelling all that well at Punchestown before being brought down but it was too early in the race to have any idea how he would have fared and this looks to have been the target for some time. Unioniste is very good but very young and a 5 year old has never won this. Long Run deserves to be a short favourite but he is yet to win first time out in this country. The clear choice on form is attempting to be the first horse in 7 years to carry 11-10 to victory and is giving weight to his younger challengers. Cape Tribulation has plenty to find with the favourite off level weights and, whilst Harry Topper has gone a little cold in the horses to follow list due to not winning on his last 2 starts, he will be a lively threat if completing and has been underestimated for this. Charlie Hall Chase - Harry Topper 1pt e/w

Malcolm Jefferson is hoping for a bit more rain ahead of Oscar Rock's eagerly-awaited jumps debut at Wetherby on Friday. Oscar Rock: Ready to make his debut for Malcolm Jefferson The five-year-old joined the Malton trainer in the summer from Harry Fry, for whom he won the last two of three bumpers. Both those victories came at Newbury on soft ground, which is why Jefferson would like to see a little ease in conditions at the West Yorkshire track for the Watch Racing UK On Sky 432 "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle. "He schooled really well on Tuesday morning. Any more rain would be better for him," said Jefferson. "I'd be surprised if there is much good in the ground and we might get a little more rain. "The softer the ground the better he will be, but he's got to start off somewhere. "He ran well in a bumper on decent ground. It will be decent ground and we've got to start him off somewhere." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony McCoy has ruled out the prospect of announcing his retirement when he reaches 4,000 career wins over jumps. McCoy (right): Fancies beating Martin Pipe's (left) record The 18-times champion jockey is within touching distance of achieving the extraordinary milestone, but plans to remain in the saddle for some time yet. McCoy told the Daily Mail: "I want to be able to retire at the top and if I am going to do that, it will mean retiring when I am champion jockey. That won't be easy. "But it won't be when I ride 4,000 winners - that's for sure. "If I could get to 20 champion jockeys' (titles) and ride another 200 winners, I could beat Martin Pipe's record (4,182 winners as a trainer)." Asked whether he would ever consider training, McCoy said: "Definitely not jumpers. "If John Magnier or Sheikh Fahad Al Thani said they wanted me to train 100 two-year-olds on the Flat, I might think about it. "But, other than those two, probably not." McCoy said he felt the team responsible for fellow jockey Jason Maguire had taken a "cheap shot" earlier in the year when he was sidelined with broken ribs. Maguire's connections had pledged to fight the perennial champion for the 2013-14 title, but McCoy said: "In fairness, Jason rang me and said he was sorry and embarrassed. "He said he hadn't said it, it was his then agent. But sure it gives you motivation. "I did feel it was a cheap shot while I was injured with broken ribs, but I came back after three and a half weeks when I really shouldn't have been anywhere near a horse for another three and a half weeks. "The first horse I rode won at Ludlow and I was in bits. I should have been at home, but I was so obsessed, I did not care how my body felt." McCoy has two rides at Carlisle on Wednesday, as he closes in on the milestone 4,000-winner mark.

The latest news on some of the European contenders ahead of next week's Emirates Melbourne Cup. Brown Panther wins the Goodwood Cup under Richard Kingscote Richard Kingscote has been forced to sit tight as he waits to see if he will be able to get some first-hand experience at Flemington before riding Brown Panther in next Tuesday's Emirates Melbourne Cup. Tom Dascombe's stable jockey was thwarted in an attempt to pick up rides around the course last month, but connections retain their faith in a man who has partnered the five-year-old in all but four of his 17 career outings. Kingscote was replaced by Kieren Fallon when Brown Panther finished second in the 2011 St Leger, but has been ever-present since the middle of 2012 and helped him to a career-best victory in the Goodwood Cup on August 1. He was in the saddle to put Brown Panther through his paces at Werribee on Wednesday morning. "I'm hoping that I'll get a ride early in the card (next Tuesday)," said Kingscote. "It's a nice experience to come out here and it has been a nice confidence-booster. "I've spoken to a couple of the jockeys at home about the race and been through a few replays. The local lads know the score and I'll hopefully talk to a few people." The typical style of a Melbourne Cup, where the runners break quickly from the stalls before slowing up in mid-race ahead of a frantic finish, is something Kingscote is aware of. "My biggest problem after lighting him up will be getting him to settle, but he seems pretty grown up," he said. "He's got the speed to do it, let's just hope he gets a good draw." Brown Panther's joint-owner and breeder, former footballer Michael Owen, has not yet arrived in Australia but Dascombe has been pleased with what he has seen. "He looks well and he seems relaxed," said the Cheshire-based trainer. "I've never been here before, but he did a little bit this morning and Richard was happy. "He looks great and this has been the plan all along. "It was unfortunate as the only race at Flemington we could get Richard a ride in a few weeks ago was in a sprint. But we're working on getting him something ahead of the race. "I'll have full confidence legging Richard up, and he'll do the best job he can." Saeed bin Suroor has arrived early to supervise the preparations of Royal Empire, and the trainer expects to learn more about the Geoffrey Freer winner by Thursday morning. "Kerrin McEvoy is coming tomorrow and he'll work over seven furlongs," said Bin Suroor. "He did his main work in England before coming here, and he was second at Ascot before he went into quarantine. "Tomorrow will be the final blowout, but he looks happy and fresh. He has form over a mile and a half, and I think he'll stay the trip. He's ready to go." Craig Williams was back aboard Mount Athos on Wednesday morning as he looks forward to what he says has been a long-arranged commitment to ride Luca Cumani's gelding. The Newmarket trainer has selected one of the most experienced local pilots in an attempt to finally lift a prize which has been gnawing at him for years, with Mount Athos himself having a difficult passage at Flemington 12 months ago as he came from well off the pace to finish fifth for Ryan Moore. Williams has never landed the race himself, but missed out in painful circumstances in 2011 as he lost the ride on eventual winner Dunaden due to a late suspension. Mount Athos completed a fairly serious workout at the Werribee quarantine and training complex and is currently second favourite behind the Gai Waterhouse-trained Fiorente. The 36-year-old Williams rode another of the British contenders, Marco Botti's Dandino, to finish a close second in the recent Caulfield Cup but claims he was only set to ride one horse in the main event itself. "It wasn't a choice - I made the commitment to Luca Cumani and his owners about two months ago," he said. "Dandino did everything but win at Caulfield and he has to be well placed on Tuesday. They are two very good horses but I've made a commitment and I think Mount Athos has got a very good chance. "Yesterday I rode him to get a feel of what he was like behind horses, and today it was his main gallop before the race. "What I liked most was the way he accelerated through the line today and he gave me a good feel going into the Cup." Mount Athos made an auspicious British reappearance at Chester in May when running away with the Ormonde Stakes but was rather scratchy in the Hardwicke Stakes and Goodwood Cup. He signed off with a more encouraging second in the March Stakes back at Goodwood. Williams said: "Last year showed he can travel to Australia and perform. He has experience of racing in Australia. "Looking at last year's race, I thought he might be a bit one-dimensional but at Chester on his first run back (when making all the running) he showed he was a bit more versatile. "In regards to the race, I don't want to draw any conclusions yet. There is the Lexus and the Mackinnon Stakes on Saturday, where two horses can still come into the Cup from nowhere. "Once we know the runners and the draw, then I'll sit in my office on Sunday and Monday to do my studying."

Nottingham, 30 October 2013
1.00, first race
The Stewards noted that there was interference between the winner, RURAL AFFAIR, and NICE ARTY (IRE), placed second, inside the final half furlong but after viewing a recording of the race they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved RURAL AFFAIR’s placing.
4.10, seventh race
The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference approaching one and a half furlongs out. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that ROSIE’S LADY (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr David Turner, had interfered with FORGIVING LIGHT, unplaced, ridden by Mr W Easterby, which in turn interfered with IVY PORT, unplaced, ridden by Mr H A A Bannister. The Stewards found Mr Turner in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his horse to drift left without correction, thereby causing interference. They suspended him for 3 days on dates to be notified to him by the British Horseracing Authority.
30/10/2013
Carlisle, 30 October 2013
1.50, second race
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider the apparent improvement in form of the winner, HOLLOW BLUE SKY (FR), ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies and trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, which had never previously been placed. They interviewed the trainer’s representative who stated that the gelding had benefitted by a break from racing after an injury and has come back an improved horse. Having heard his evidence they forwarded his explanation to the British Horseracing Authority so that the previous performances of HOLLOW BLUE SKY (FR) could be reviewed.
3.55, sixth race
The Stewards held an enquiry as a result of concerns by riders in race four over the safety of the takeoff and landing areas of the General’s fence. They interviewed Richie McGrath, (Jockeys’ Safety Officer) and the Clerk of the Course. Having considered their evidence the Stewards gave permission for the General’s fence to be bypassed in race six.
4.25, seventh race
The Stewards noted that GONE FOREVER, placed third, had interfered with the winner HURRICANE HOLLOW, who in turn interfered with ALBATROS TRESOR (FR), unplaced, approximately two furlongs out but after viewing a recording of the race they were satisfied that it did not involve a riding offence.
30/10/2013
Kempton Park, 30 October 2013
4.35, first race
The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of LORAINE, ridden by George Baker and trained by Jamie Osborne, which appeared to be tenderly ridden in the early stages and ran on well towards the end of the race to finish third, beaten 2 ¾ lengths. They interviewed the rider, who explained that he had been instructed to ride the filly as he normally does, from the rear in order to get her to settle and relax as she has a tendency to run too freely. He added that LORAINE had travelled well throughout the race but was shuffled back coming out of the turn into the home straight, forcing him to wait to make his run. When he was able to kick for home, LORAINE finished strongly. The rider further stated that, whilst he had no concerns during the race, on pulling up and turning down the chute Loraine was found to be lame, which he reported at Scales and which was subsequently confirmed by the Veterinary Officer. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards noted the explanations.
5.10, second race
The Stewards noted that HONEY MEADOW, placed second, and BLACK GERONIMO, unplaced, had both interfered with TRIGGER PARK (IRE), unplaced, shortly after the start, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved HONEY MEADOW’s placing.
5.40, third race
The Starter reported that DISCUSSIONTOFOLLOW (IRE), trained by Mike Murphy, refused to enter the stalls. The trainer’s attention was drawn to the restriction incurred under Rule (B)44 and he was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The Stewards held an enquiry to establish how DISCUSSIONTOFOLLOW (IRE), trained by Mike Murphy, got loose after the start and ran back towards the field in the home straight, having been withdrawn by the Starters after refusing to enter the stalls. They heard evidence from the Starters and Martin Dwyer, the rider, who explained that, having dismounted, he felt it prudent to remount as the gelding was becoming increasingly agitated. However, on being legged up DISCUSSIONTOFOLLOW (IRE) reared very high, unseating him and breaking free from the handler. This was confirmed by the Starter. Having heard the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations.
6.10, fourth race
The Starter reported that STAINES MASSIVE, trained by Brett Johnson, refused to enter the stalls. The trainer’s attention was drawn to the restriction incurred under Rule (B)44 and he was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider a complaint by the representative of Brett Johnson, the trainer of STAINES MASSIVE, that insufficient effort had been made to get his horse to enter the stalls. They interviewed the representative and the Starters. Having considered their evidence, and viewed recordings of the incident, the Stewards ordered a report to be forwarded to the British Horseracing Authority.

18:30 Thursday 31st October Racing Tips - 31/10/2013
Stratford hosts a solid midweek jumps card and Harry Hunt lines up over 2 and a half miles having won on soft ground on the flat a few weeks ago. That was something of a surprise entry and win but it showed he handles the ground and gets on well with today's jockey Wayne Hutchinson. He won over course and distance back in May when jumping best of his 4 chase starts and could be well treated on handicap bow in this sphere off a mark of 128, the same as his last winning hurdles mark. The main threat will come from The Druids Nephew but I'd more taken with the price of Graeme McPherson's horse at 7/1. The favourite has dropped to a decent mark that he should be capable of winning off and a 2nd to Hadrian's Approach over a furlong shorter last year puts him right up there for this. Benny's Mist is not without hope but the yard is yet to get going and very much on the cold list. Stratford 15.40 - Harry Hunt 1pt e/w
Kempton's feature mile handicap is incredibly open with at least 9 of the 14 in with a serious chance but preference is for Uppercut at 11/2. Robert Tart gets the ride having won on him on penultimate start over course and distance and he looks progressive enough to be capable of winning off 4lb higher. That was only his second all weather start (the other also came over course and distance) but a follow up effort when 2nd at Newmarket off today's mark shows he is still leniently treated. He wants a good gallop and is likely to get that today and a draw in stall 9 should give him plenty of opportunity to settle in behind. Monsieur Chevalier is going to win soon and it could be a return the all weather that sparks a revival but I'd want him bigger than 10/1 before siding with him. George Guru is the one at a price that looks to have a shot. He is consistent on the all weather, has won with Kieren Fallon before, and is only 1lb higher than his last all weather win. Kempton 18.30 - Uppercut 1pt e/w

Aidan O'Brien believes Declaration Of War represents possibly his best ever chance of finally claiming victory in the Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita on Saturday. Declaration Of War: Gives Aidan O'Brien a fine chance in the Classic Given the prestigious 10-furlong Group One affair is generally run on dirt, it is no surprise European challengers have struggled to make a significant impact as they are neither bred for or have experience of tackling such underfoot conditions. John Gosden's Raven's Pass gave the Europeans a one-two in beating O'Brien's Henrythenavigator in the 2008 renewal, although that was the year the race was run on a synthetic surface rather than dirt. Andre Fabre's Arcangues in 1993 remains the only other European-trained winner. O'Brien's much-loved 'Iron horse' Giant's Causeway came closer than most have managed to clinching the race on dirt in 2000, going down by a neck to Tiznow, and the master of Ballydoyle believes his latest challenger has even better credentials. An American-bred four-year-old and briefly trained in the States by Todd Pletcher last year, Declaration Of War has shown his class by claiming the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot and the Juddmonte International at York in Europe this year. He gave O'Brien further confidence when working on the Fibresand at Southwell recently, and pleased in a spin under former jump jockey Dean Gallagher on the Santa Anita track this morning. Joseph O'Brien watched on from aboard a pony. The trainer said: "I was happy with everything this morning, the horses went round just to stretch their legs. "I think Declaration Of War is different to any of the horses I've run in the Classic, as he has a different profile. We took him to Southwell two weeks ago because that surface is as close to American dirt in terms of the kickback. "In that work he followed two Group One winners over a mile, sat in behind them and then quickened up to go clear and he was visually very impressive. We did the same before Giant's Causeway went for the Classic but he didn't pull away like this one did. "Declaration Of War likes to get up there in behind horses and was on the heels of the two in front of him. This horse is by War Front and has Dynaformer in his pedigree and we felt he would have no problem in going back to six furlongs after he won the Queen Anne, but to show how versatile he is he ran over an open mile and a quarter and a half at York and got the trip well. "The question on Saturday will be how he handles the kickback. "He had a setback when he was trained in America and we did think about bringing him out for the Classic last year but decided it wouldn't have been fair on him mentally. But now he is more mentally and physically ready than before, he's got a fantastic constitution and I think he has got more speed than Giant's Causeway, who was a horse that could get lazy in his races. This horse is not (lazy). "It will be Joseph's first ride on dirt at the Breeders' Cup and another first for him, but no one knows the horse better. He's a big powerful horse, and he has been in full work all the time this year. We've kept him busy and we are very pleased with him." O'Brien was also positive about the chances of Magician, who steps up to a mile and a half for the first time in the Breeders' Cup Turf. Winner of the Dee Stakes at Chester before running away with the Irish 2,000 Guineas, the three-year-old has not been seen since finishing last of nine in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in June. O'Brien said: "He got a knock before Ascot when he jumped out of the spa and bruised his front legs, and on reflection Ascot was a little bit too quick after what happened. "He's been ready to run again for a good while and when we couldn't bring Camelot (now retired) we decided that we would try Magician. "Ryan (Moore) thought he was a Derby horse when he won on him at Chester and for the mile and a half race you want a horse that has stayed a mile and a quarter well, although it is a little bit of a concern that he is drawn wide

Venetia Williams has confirmed stable star Katenko is likely to make his seasonal reappearance in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham on November 16. Katenko: On course for Cheltenham return The seven-year-old enjoyed a brilliant start to the year, winning comfortably at Sandown in early January before running out an even more impressive winner of a fiercely competitive Cheltenham handicap later that month. Connections were seriously considering a tilt at the Cheltenham Gold Cup, but Katenko had to undergo an emergency colic operation in early March, ruling him out of the blue riband and the rest of the season. Williams has been pleased with her charge's progress since he returned from his summer break and provided conditions are suitable, he is likely to be a major player at Cheltenham in a fortnight's time. "Fingers crossed, he seems in good form, and the plan is to run in the Paddy Power," said the trainer. "The softer the ground the better for him and we already know he stays further than the Paddy Power trip (extended two and a half miles). "If you are going to be running over that sort of distance, you would want the ground to be on the soft side. Hopefully conditions at Cheltenham will be suitable." Katenko also holds an entry in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury on November 30.

Trainer Jessica Harrington has warned punters not to expect a fully tuned-up Jezki as the triple Grade One winner looks to give weight and a beating to five opponents in the WKD Hurdle at Down Royal on Friday. Jezki: Returns to action at Down Royal The five-year-old was hugely impressive in winning top-level prizes at Fairyhouse and Leopardstown in the first half of last season, prompting leading owner JP McManus to snap him up prior to the Cheltenham Festival. He acquitted himself well at Prestbury Park, finishing third behind Champagne Fever and My Tent Or Yours in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, and signed off his season with a runway victory at Punchestown a month later. Tony McCoy will partner Jezki for the first time in Northern Ireland on Friday and although he has to concede upwards of 8lb to each of his rivals, his rating of 161 suggests he should be capable of doing so. Harrington said: "I've been happy with his preparation and he seems to have come back a bit strong stronger this season. "He has to give weight away and AP is coming over to have a sit on him, which is great. "He wouldn't be 110% wound up, but then you wouldn't expect him to be at this stage of the season. "We're looking forward to getting him started." Gordon Elliott saddles Flaxen Flare, winner of the Fred Winter Juvenile Hurdle at Cheltenham in March and second behind Missunited in the Galway Hurdle in August. Elliott said: "Obviously Jezki is running, so it will be a tough ask, but it is good prize-money and we would be delighted if he could finish second or third. "He ran a very good race to finish second in the Galway Hurdle and we have freshened him up since his last run at Leopardstown. "He might not be as fit as we would like him to be, but he should run a good race." Ruby Walsh teams up with old boss Paul Nicholls as Caid Du Berlais makes his first appearance since beating all bar Flaxen Flare at Cheltenham. Courtly Conduct and Massini's Trap complete the line-up. The other Pattern event on the seven-race card is the Grade Three EBF Lough Construction Ltd Mares Novice Hurdle. David Kelly's Que Pasa heads the 10-strong field, with John Kiely's Kilbarry Beauty, Ken Condon's Roja Dove and the Harrington-trained Gambling Girl her biggest threats. Harrington said: "She likes nice ground. She won her bumper, ran well in a maiden at the Curragh, and then couldn't have done any more than she did in Gowran. "The great thing about her is I took a bit of a chance with her on the ground the last day, as really she likes nice ground. "This is a better race, so we'll see how she goes."

12.50, first race
The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference on the run to the line. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that the winner, MUTEELA, ridden by Paul Hanagan, had interfered with THIS IS THE DAY, unplaced, ridden by Joe Fanning. The Stewards found Hanagan in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his filly to drift right. They suspended him for 2 days as follows: Thursday 14 and Friday 15 November 2013.
2.20, fourth race
The Stewards noted that AL’S MEMORY (IRE), unplaced, had interfered with DOCOFTHEBAY (IRE), unplaced, approaching the final furlong, but after viewing a recording of the race they were satisfied that it did not involve a riding offence.
They also noted that DEMOCRETES, unplaced, had interfered with NOBLE CITIZEN (USA), unplaced, which then interfered with AL’S MEMORY (IRE), unplaced, inside the final furlong, but after viewing a recording of the race they were satisfied that it did not involve a riding offence.
2.50, fifth race
The Stewards held an enquiry following a report from the Starter that ENROL, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, was the subject of a third criteria failure. The trainer’s attention was drawn to the restriction incurred under Rule (B)44 and informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test. This being the second occasion within the previous 12 months that ENROL had been reported, the Stewards informed the trainer that if the filly were reported for a third time within the same period, ENROL would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
31/10/2013
Stratford, 31 October 2013
The Stewards gave permission for the first fence and the first hurdle in the back straight to be omitted in all races due to ground repairs.
1.40, second race
The Stewards noted that there was interference between the winner, STADIUM OF LIGHT (IRE), and ISOLA BELLA, placed second, on the final bend, but after viewing a recording of the race they were unable to apportion blame.
31/10/2013
Sedgefield, 31 October 2013
2.30, fourth race
The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference after the final fence. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that the winner, KING OF THE WOLDS (IRE), ridden by Brian Hughes, had interfered with DEISE DYNAMO (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jason Maguire, and that the interference had not improved KING OF THE WOLD (IRE)’s placing. They ordered the placings to remain unaltered. The Stewards found Hughes in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he made a manoeuvre to his left thereby causing interference. They suspended him for 1 day as follows: Thursday 14 November 2013.
31/10/2013
Kempton Park, 31 October 2013
5.30, third race
The record of vaccinations in the passport of KIELTY’S FOLLY, trained by Brian Baugh, did not comply with the Rules of Racing. The Stewards found the trainer in breach of Rule (E)18 and fined him £140.
