Skip down a few posts, there is now a easier way of making tables. Look for the post headed " New Table Creator". Tables - quick lesson:Course | Time | Horse | SP | Doncaster | 220 | Big Bertha | 12/1 | Sandown | 125 | Abandon Hope | 100/1 | Market Rasen | 400 | Short and Curly | 3/1 | Ascot | 315 | Arthurian Leg End | 100/30 |
Is formed from the following code...

CourseTimeHorseSP

Doncaster220Big Bertha12/1

Sandown125Abandon Hope100/1

Market Rasen400Short and Curly3/1

Ascot315Arthurian Leg End100/30

...where td = table data tr = table row and table = er... well... table. Hope that might help. I know it looks horrible!! BC

You can format the cells, like making the header bold etc as follows: Quick lesson: Course | Time | Horse | SP | Doncaster | 220 | Big Bertha | 12/1 | Sandown | 125 | Abandon Hope | 100/1 | Market Rasen | 400 | Short and Curly | 3/1 | Ascot | 315 | Arthurian Leg End | 100/30 |

CourseTimeHorseSP

Doncaster220Big Bertha12/1

Sandown125Abandon Hope100/1

Market Rasen400Short and Curly3/1

Ascot315Arthurian Leg End100/30

New Table CreatorI've noticed that in Proboards v.5 there is a new table button in the Advanced Editor and it is much easier to use that earlier versions. I created this test grid a a minute: 1.
| Frankel | 2/1 F | 2. | Nathaniel | 3/1 | 3. | Genius Beast
| 15/2 |
or here is the same table but without the Grid: 1.
| Sea the Stars | 4/7 F | 2. | Rip Van Winkle | 11/2 | 3. | Conduit | 9/2 |
Look for this button:
