It's getting a bit scary, i'm 67, i have diabetes (treated by insulin), high blood pressure and i have a chronic immune based neurological condition. looks like i'm in the frame for a bad dose of it. So i'm going to self isolate as from today to try and prevent myself getting infected, i'll still post of course.I have made arrangements to have a weekly delivery of frozen meals from a company called wiltshire farm foods. i'm going to go for a nightly 20 minute walk for fresh air and exercise avoiding people like the plague. I live in a sheltered housing complex of 36 flats and i wont be mixing with them either. Just hope it works.
stay safe everyone.

Take care Dennis, although you might need a bit longer than two weeks I'm thinking. I'm working from home, but we're just at the start of it and with a population of 260 million it could run wild. At our age - 79 in May - it's in the lap of the gods. Wish you good health and hope you beat it.

Lots of information about the role of diet on treating ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart related illnesses, cancer and much more on this website:
nutritionfacts.org/
I like it because it provides summary 5 minute videos on what the best available science is saying about the role of foods on preventing, treating and reversing health issues. It does also provide links to its sources should you wish to read the actual reports. These reports are sourced from universities around the world.
You can use the "Search" facility to shortcut to the videos most relevant to your ailments.
I have been watching these almost daily for the last 6+ years - highly recommended.
Hope you find it helpful. Best wishes.

During this difficult time when we spend all day indoors perhaps you would like someone to talk to. If you are a member (Its easy to join if you are not a member, and there is no obligation to post anything) just join, send me a personal message or an email, (my email address is on my profile,) with your name and telephone number and I will give you a ring for a chat. We can talk about anything you want, racing, weather just things in general, anything. If in particular you would like to talk about football Liz is the person to ask for. I will pass your details to her and she will give you a ring. Kind regards Kimmy.

who do you believe?
last week i met a guy from liverpool, he is a nurse, semi retired and works 2 shifts a week. i ran him home to liverpool and we had a good chat, mainly about COVID. The main subject was "is it nearly all over"?
he told me plenty of people are still dying from this terrible plague and plenty of them have been triple jabbed. all this of course contradicts the government line of it's all over bar the shouting, who do you believe? we have a political class that routinely lie to the electorate almost every time they speak, ministers coached before they give a news interview and just spout the party bullxxxx, only caring about tomorrows headlines in the daily mail.
how has it come to this?, when you have to question every word they say. we have a PM. who is a compulsive liar and shameless in every way. they bring this country to its knees and still they lie, and the majority still think Boris is the right man to lead this country. i despair and what is worse is he will more than likely get voted in again.
guy fawkes had the right idea, this country is broken beyond repair and i cant see it ever recovering anytime soon.
