The forum is taking a long time to load at times. Banger has complained about this. I have sent details to Proboards Support.

Yes, I have noticed the same. It even times out on me it's so slow. However, I've not had a problem with other Proboards.

I wondered about that, but had put it down to to my ISP, which cuts out every now and then. Obviously wrongly apportioned blame!

This is the message I sent to ProBpards:
Various servers used Firefox, IE etc.
During the past 7/10 days myself and members have had problems with slow loading of pages and keep getting this message:This page took too long to generate and has been stopped. A log of this error has been reported to ProBoards Support.:
Their reply: Hi,
We have been monitoring the server that your forum is on and have recently made some changes this week that should have improved the situation. Are you still experiencing issues, or are you just reporting it because it was an issue for a while and wanted to check on it?
My reply: Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Was still getting this up to last night 04/09/13 will monitor it next few days and will get back to you.
Anybody still having problems please post on here and I will get back to them in a few days time.

Kimmy, Yes, it's getting worse not better - perhaps this is their subtle hint as to why the upgrade! OT

Seems OK here today. Maybe a tiny bit slow, but better than recently.

While it took a little longer than expected, performance appears to drastically improved on the problem server as anticipated. We shall continue to monitor the server to ensure this remains the case.

Looks like we are getting more problems. I watched a video on the v5 changes, and it seemed to imply that when we upgrade, they change the server that we're on. That MIGHT solve the problem. I could be wrong though - that was just the impression I got. BC
