Wow, if I don't win (I know Atticus, Banger and OT can find the long uns) I never thought I would see in electrons the words "mighty" and "NFP" on the same page, let alone the same line. BC you've made a young man (ahem) very happy - I do want my name on that trophy though, fed up being the feckin bridesmaid! Well, looking at the time you wrote that, you'll Await the Dawn and see what the day brings. But it's unlikely anyone will Overturn your position. And when you win, there's no doubt you'll be the Life and Soul of the party. I've sent the crown off to the engravers this morning, so I hope you win now or I'll have to have the bl00dy thing done again!

Table updated. Despite scoring nil points on the final day the mighty Nofinepix withstood a late challenge from Ginger, which means he's no longer the bridesmaid. Congratulations, very well deserved. The presentation will follow shortly. Old-Timer finished second... and he narrowly headed the fast finishing Ginger, who found a 25/1 winner today. Sadly, no other tipster was able to stay in profit. What are we doing? There was one other notable performance today, which came from Dennsg, who scored with all three selections
And so to the presentation... Now then, don't get too excited, but Sir Henry Cecil has kindly agreed to make the presentation, and here he is talking to Nofinepix shortly after the latter's epic win. static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Sport/Pix/pictures/2010/5/8/1273341082081/Henry-Cecil-007.jpg [/img] It gives me great pleasure to award this year's Royal Ascot Crown to Nofinepix. Well done. Enjoy the moment. ______________________________________ As usual, if you spot any mistakes, please let me know.

Well done Nfp, reckon I gave you too much of a head start, plus chose the wrong one of Fanshawe's for this comp. Still, well done again. OT

Thank you very much for the kind words.
Thank you BC for keeping score.
I'd better give the virtual cupboard a darn good cleaning before putting the trophy in pride of place.
