Todays Question Do you think that the Tote should have been sold to a bookmaker, and will this make any improvement to the service?

O T If my memory is correct you could stake 2/- for a bet on the tote treble that being the 2nd, 4th and 6th races if your first selection won you went back with ticket your for your next race selection, returning a winning ticket for the 6th race and if your last selection won then you start thinking how many winners

Banger,
How right you are, though I was never that smart. The last time I used it was for a dual forecast in a 7-horse race full of donkeys where there were just two with any form whatsoever, one ridden by Dougie Smith and the other by Lester Piggott. We were all on it at work and I was delegated to carry all the money (about 25 pounds in total) from Ellesmere Port to the Tote office in Chester to place the best. Asper Tote rules, it paid the minimum of 4/2.

OT How things alter your D/F then would be no matter if your selections finished first and second or reversed you got a dividend now with the Exacta you need to split your stake to reverse the bet which could result in a loss. Banger
