Something you might have to deal with at sometime. I know somebody who arranged a solicitor to do this for them and it cost just over £2,000 and they had to wait about 8 weeks. I helped somebody recently to do their own and was surprised how simple it was. Cost approx. £100 and sorted in a matter of days. Well worth looking into it yourself if.

ive just been to a funeral and i was talking to the deceased's son, he'd had a few pints but he told me the doctors death certificate was £150, which if true is nothing short of daylight robbery. add the vicars fee and the undertakers whack and the crematorium etc. you wouldn't get much change from £3k.

The last dealings I had if I remember right the death certificate was about £8. Re the first post in this thread when Oldtimer took over the forum all my posts were credited to him so just in case anybody needs help with probate please get in touch with me.
