I just installed a Samsung SSD on my Mac Book Pro (latest version) because I read that the SSD makes booting faster. However, before the SSD, my MBP boot time was 30 seconds and now with the SSD it's 45 seconds. It 's a brand new laptop and so I don't have much software installed yet. Can anyone explain why it takes this long? Is it really better to use a SSD versus a HDD?
Thank you
