I Must Go Shopping
My Kindness shelf is almost bare, I'm getting low on Love, Completely out of Thankfulness… Must send for more above.
I should exchange some Jealousy, I didn't order that! I need a box of Tolerance, For mine seems rather flat!
Oh yes, I must put on my list, The fragrance of God's Peace, I need a big supply of Joy, Before my needs increase.
I noticed Patience is on sale… I need so much today. It looks becoming anytime, And mine is telltale grey.
Humility is terribly rare… I can't afford it now. But Oh, my stock is almost bare, I'll pay for it somehow!
My Sense of Humor is a mess, It should be repaired today. My flask of Goodness lost its zest, Somewhere along the way.
Extravagant is my shopping list? I wonder how I'll pay? I can't afford to skimp or save… So, I must shop -- TODAY!

Don't Ever Stop Dreaming Your Dreams
Don't ever be reluctant to show your feelings when you're happy, give in to it. When you're not, live with it.
Don't ever be afraid to try to make things better you might be surprised at the results.
Don't ever take the weight of the world on your shoulders. Don't ever feel threatened by the future, take life one day at a time.
Don't ever feel guilty about the past what's done is done. Learn from any mistakes you might have made.
Don't ever feel that you are alone there is always somebody there for you to reach out to.
Don't ever forget that you can achieve so many of the things you can imagine.... It's not as hard as it seems.
Don't ever stop loving don't ever stop believing, don't ever stop dreaming your dreams.

Keep Going
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When cares are pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns. And many a fellow turns about, When he might have won, had he stuck it out. Don't give up, though the pace seems slow, You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than It seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up, When he might have captured the victor's cup; And he learned too late when the night came down, How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

This Day
This day's going to be a good one. I'm alive and well.
This day's going to be a fine one. I'll sit and rest a spell.
This day's going to be a great one. I don't have to go to work.
This day's going to be a swell one. I got some coffee to perk.
This day's going to be a fun one. My bills are paid on time.
This day's going to be the best one. I got some words to rhyme.
This day's going to be a happy one. I got my attitude in check.
This day's going to be a praising one. I'll give that old devil a run for his money.
This day's going to be a dancing one. My feet feel fancy free.
This day's going to be a one of a kind. 'Cause it's my day and there's only one me.

Shopping Ages You are in the middle of some kind of project around the house. Mowing the lawn, putting a new fence in, painting the living room, or whatever. You are hot and sweaty. Covered in dirt or paint. You have your old work clothes on. You know the outfit, shorts with the hole in crotch, old t-shirt with a stain from who knows what and an old pair of tennis shoes.
Right in the middle of this great home improvement project you realize you need to run to Wal-Mart to get something required to complete the job. Depending on your age you might do the following: In your 20s:
Stop what you are doing. Shave, take a shower, blow dry your hair, brush your teeth, floss and put on clean clothes. Check yourself in the mirror and flex. Add a dab of your favorite cologne because you never know, you just might meet some hot chick while standing in the checkout lane. You went to school with the pretty girl running the register.
In your 30s:
Stop what you are doing, put on clean shorts and shirt. Change shoes. You married the hot chick so no need for much else. Wash your hands and comb your hair. Check yourself in the mirror. Still got it. Add a shot of your favorite cologne to cover the smell. The cute girl running the register is the kid sister to someone you went to school with.
In your 40s:
Stop what you are doing. Put a sweatshirt that is long enough to cover the hole in the crotch of your shorts. Put on different shoes and a hat. Wash your hands. Your bottle of Brute Cologne is almost empty so you don't want to waste any of it on a trip to Wal- Mart. Check yourself in the mirror and do more sucking in than flexing. The spicy young thing running the register is your daughter's age and you feel weird thinking she is spicy.
In your 50s:
Stop what you are doing. Put a hat on, wipe the dirt off your hands onto your shirt. Change shoes because you don't want to get dirt in your new sports car. Check yourself in the mirror and you swear not to wear that shirt anymore because it makes you look fat. The cutie running the register smiles when she sees you coming and you think you still have it. Then you remember the hat you have on is from your buddy's bait shop and it says, "I Got Worms."
In your 60s:
Stop what you are doing. No need for a hat anymore. Hose off the dog poop off your shoes. The mirror was shattered when you were in your 50s. You hope you have underwear on so nothing hangs out the hole in your pants. The girl running the register may be cute but you don't have your glasses on so you are not sure.
In your 70s:
Stop what you are doing. Wait to go to Wal-Mart until they have your prescriptions ready too. Don't even notice the dog poop on your shoes. The young thing at the register smiles at you because you remind her of her grandfather.
In your 80s:
Stop what you are doing. Start again. Then stop again. Now you remember that you needed to go to Wal-Mart. Go to Wal-Mart and wonder around trying to think what it is you are looking for. Pass gas out loud and you think someone called out your name. The old lady that greeted you at the front door went to school with you. [ Author Unknown

Cardiovascular Exercise
The older we get the more important it is to incorporate exercise into our daily routine. This is necessary to maintain cardiovascular health and maintain muscle mass.
If you're over 50, you might want to take it easy at first, then do more repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina. Warning: It may be too strenuous for some.
Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program! Scroll Down.
NOW SCROLL UP..
That's enough for the first day. Well done.
Have a glass of Wine.

The story goes that some time ago a mother punished her five year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper.. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.
Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and then said, 'This is for you, Momma.'
The mother was embarrassed by her earlier over reaction, but her anger flared again when she opened the box and found it was empty. She spoke to her daughter in a harsh manner.
'Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?'
She had tears in her eyes and said, 'Oh, Momma, it's not empty! I blew kisses into it until it was full.'
The mother was crushed. She fell on her knees and put her arms around her little girl, and she begged her forgiveness for her thoughtless anger.
An accident took the life of the child only a short time later, and it is told that the mother kept that gold box by her bed for all the years of her life.
Whenever she was discouraged or faced difficult problems she would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.
In a very real sense, each of us, as human beings, have been given a Golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family and friends... There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.
You now have two choices: 1. Pass this on to your friends, or 2. Delete it and act like it didn't touch your heart.
As you can see, I took choice No. 1. Friends are like angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

'Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'
A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.
If you want your dreams to come true, you mustn't oversleep.
Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.
The best vitamin for making friends..... B1.
The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge. One thing you can give and still keep....is your word.
You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself.
If you lack the courage to start, you have already finished..
One thing you can't recycle is wasted time.
Ideas won't work unless ' You' do.
Your mind is like a parachute....it functions only when open.
The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice..
The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what you might have been.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.. So love the people who treat you right.. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it. Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we forget what's right and wrong.. Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late.

Everyone Needs Someone
People need people and friends need friends
And we all need love for a full life depends
Not on vast riches or great acclaim,
Not on success or on worldy fame,
But just in knowing that someone cares
And holds us close in their thoughts and prayers-
For only the knowledge that we're understood
Makes everyday living feel wonderfully good,
And we rob ourselves of life's greatest need
When we "lock up our hearts" and fail to heed
The outstretched hand reaching to find
A kindred spirit whose heart and mind
Are lonely and longing to somehow share
Our joys and sorrows and to make us aware
That life's completeness and richness depends
On the things we share with our loved ones
and friends.

On Thursday, 24th January 2002 , Derek Guille broadcast this story on His afternoon program on ABC radio. In March 1999 a man living in Kandos (near Mudgee in NSW, Australia ) Received a bill for his as yet unused gas line stating that he owed $0.00. He ignored it and threw it away. In April he received another bill and Threw that one away too. The following month the gas company sent him a very nasty note stating That they were going to cancel his gas line if he didn't send them $0..00 by return mail. He called them, talked to them, and they said it was a computer error And they would take care of it. The following month he decided that it was about time that he tried out The troublesome gas line figuring that if there was usage on the account It would put an end to this ridiculous predicament. However, when he went to use the gas, it had been cut off. He called the gas company who apologised for the computer error once Again and said that they would take care of it. The next day he got a Bill for $0.00 stating that payment was now overdue. Assuming that having spoken to them the previous day the latest bill was Yet another mistake, he ignored it, trusting that the company would be As good as their word and sort the problem out. The next month he got a bill for $0.00. This bill also stated that he Had 10 days to pay his account or the company would have to take steps To recover the debt. Finally, giving in, he thought he would beat the gas company at their Own game and mailed them a cheque for $0.00. The computer duly processed His account and returned a statement to the effect that he now owed the Gas company nothing at all. A week later, the manager of the Mudgee branch of the Westpac Banking Corporation called our hapless friend and asked him what he was doing Writing cheque for $0.00. After a lengthy explanation the bank manager replied that the $0.00 Cheque had caused their cheque processing software to fail. The bank Could therefore not process ANY cheques they had received from ANY of Their customers that day because the cheque for $0.00 had caused the Computer to crash. The following month the man received a letter from the gas company Claiming that his cheque had bounced and that he now owed them $0.00 and Unless he sent a cheque by return mail they would take immediate steps To recover the debt. At this point, the man decided to file a debt harassment claim against The gas company. It took him nearly two hours to convince the clerks at The local courthouse that he was not joking. They subsequently helped him in the drafting of statements which were Considered substantive evidence of the aggravation and difficulties he Had been forced to endure during this debacle. The matter was heard in the Magistrate's Court in Mudgee and the Outcome was this: The gas company was ordered to: [1] Immediately rectify their computerised accounts system or Show Cause, within 10 days, why the matter should not be referred to a higher Court for consideration under Company Law. [2] Pay the bank dishonour fees incurred by the man. [3] Pay the bank dishonour fees incurred by all the Westpac clients Whose cheques had been bounced on the day our friend's had been Processed. [4] Pay the claimant's court costs; and [5] Pay the claimant a total of $1500 per month for the 5 month period March to July inclusive as compensation for the aggravation they had Caused their client to suffer. And all this over $0.00. This story can also be viewed on the ABC website. Who employs these idiots?? Remember, these "people" walk among us and breathe the same air we do.
This is a true story.

A successful business man was growing old and knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business.
Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children, he decided to do something different. He called all the young executives in his company together.
He said, "It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO. I have decided to choose one of you. "The young executives were Shocked, but the boss continued. "I am going to give each one of you a SEED today - one very special SEED. I want you to plant the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today with what you have grown from the seed I have given you. I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be the next CEO."
One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed. He went home and excitedly, told his wife the story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted the seed. Everyday, he would water it and watch to see if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.
Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew.
Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing.
By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn't have a plant and he felt like a failure.
Six months went by -- still nothing in Jim's pot. He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however, he just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - He so wanted the seed to grow.
A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the CEO for inspection.
Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she asked him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick to his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful -- in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him!
When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young executives.
Jim just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees and flowers you have grown," said the CEO. "Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!"
All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, "The CEO knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me fired!"
When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened to his seed - Jim told him the story.
The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives, "Behold your next Chief Executive Officer!
His name is Jim!" Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow his seed.
"How could he be the new CEO?" the others said.
Then the CEO said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it,and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow.
All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new Chief Executive Officer!"
* If you plant honesty, you will reap trust
* If you plant goodness, you will reap friends
* If you plant humility, you will reap greatness
* If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment
* If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective
* If you plant hard work, you will reap success
* If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation
So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later. Think about this for a minute....
If I happened to show up on your door step crying, would you care?
If I called you and asked you to pick me up because something happened, would you come?
If I had one day left to live my life, would you be part of that last day?
If I needed a shoulder to cry on, would you give me yours?
This is a test to see who your real friends are or if you are just someone to talk to you when they are bored.
Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes?
They blink together, they move together, they cry together, they see things together, and they sleep together, but they never see each other; ....that's what friendship is.. Your aspiration is your motivation, your motivation is your belief, your belief is your peace, your peace is your target, your target is heaven, and life is like hard core torture without it!

I'm Okay
The house is a mess, the dishes are dirty. I'm too old for this stuff, I'm well over thirty! The car is not clean, my hair is a wreck, And I've already spent next Friday's paycheck.
The laundry needs washing, the kids are too rowdy, And I never have time for a leisurely "Howdy." With all that I do, it's never enough, It's never quite finished, it always looks rough.
I looked in my mirror and what did I see? A harried old stranger, where I used to be. The hurrier I go, the behinder I get. Today is tomorrow, and I'm not caught up yet.
My kids are growing at such a fast pace, That I'm missing their childhood for the sake of this race. I work and I clean and I cook, and I say "Hit the books, clean your room!" there's no time for play.
Well, the Lord, for some reason, chose ME with the care Of three of His children, but I'm rarely there! I've GOT to slow down lest there's nothing to show For my role as their Mom when they pack up and go!
I'm only one person, but look through my door, What appears to be one, divides into more! I'm a chauffeur, a cook, a planter of trees, A teacher, an umpire, a mender of knees.
Sometimes, I forget that deep down inside, There's a lady with feelings, and last night, she cried. She gets tired and lonely, feels taken for granted She wants to see blooms from the seeds that she's planted.
Then, amidst all the turmoil in this mind-bending pace, My little ones look at me square in the face... And just when I need it, they in unison say, "Momma, I love you" and then... I'm OKAY!

Judge Gently
Pray, don't find fault with the man that limps Or stumbles along the road. Unless you have worn the shoes he wears Or struggled beneath his load.
There may be tacks in his shoes that hurt Though hidden away from view. Or the burden he bears placed on your back Might cause you to stumble too.
Dont sneer at the man who's down today Unless you have felt the blow That caused his fall or felt the shame That only the fallen know.
You may be strong but still the blows That was his if dealt to you In the selfsame way, at the selfsame time Might cause you to stagger too.
Dont be too harsh with the man that sins Or pelt him with word or stone Unless you are sure - yea, doubly sure - That you have no sins of your own.
For you know, perhaps, If the tempter's voice should whisper as soft to you As it did to him when he went astray It might cause you to falter too.

WE WAS BRUNG UP PROPER!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO WERE BORN IN THE 1930's 1940's, 50's, 60's First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us and lived in houses made of asbestos... They took aspirin, ate blue cheese, raw egg products, loads of bacon and processed meat, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes or cervical cancer. Then after that trauma, our baby cots were covered with brightcoloured lead-based paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets or shoes, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle. Take away food was limited to fish and chips, no pizza shops, McDonalds , KFC, Subway or Nandos... What is Nandos??? Even though all the shops closed at 6.00pm and didn't open on a Sunday, somehow we didn't starve to death! We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this. We could collect old drink bottles and cash them in at the corner store and buy Toffees, Gobstoppers, Bubble Gum and some bangers to blow up frogs with. We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank soft drinks with sugar in it, but we weren't overweight because........ WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!! We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O..K. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of old prams and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. We built tree houses and dens and tunnels into slopes and played in river beds with matchbox or dinky cars. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo Wii , X-boxes, no video games at all, no 999 channels on SKY , No video/dvd films, No mobile phones, no personal computers, no Internet or Internet chat rooms..........WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no Lawsuits from these accidents.
Only girls had pierced ears!
We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
You could only buy Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns at Easter time...
We were given air guns and catapults for our 10th birthdays,
We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just yelled for them! Mum didn't have to go to work to help dad make ends meet because we didn’t need to keep up with the Jones’s!
Not everyone made the rugby/football/cricket/netball team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!! Getting into the team was based on MERIT
Our teachers used to hit us with canes and gym shoes and throw the blackboard rubber at us if they thought we weren’t concentrating We can string sentences together and spell and have proper conversations because of a good, solid three R’s education. Our parents would tell us to ask a stranger to help us cross the road. The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!
Our parents didn't invent stupid names for their kids like 'Kiora' and 'Blade' and 'Ridge' and 'Vanilla' and 'Sumatra'
We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL !
And YOU are one of them! CONGRATULATIONS! You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated our lives for our own good. And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave their parents were. PS -The big type is because your eyes are not too good at your age anymore

Didja Know?
You think you know the Bible? well, let's test you then and see ~ Can you recite one verse from Hezekiah 33? It says that women must not wear such clothes as manly slacks, And furthermore, it seems against the colors: greys and blacks. And men must not adorn themselves with earrings, jewels or chains, "No necklaces of any kind," verse 22 explains. The children must not play with dogs, it calls them filthy beasts! Dogs aren't allowed at festivals or any kind of feasts. All babies under three weeks old must not cry after 2, They must be pacified with sweets and candy, if they do. And each camel must be restrained within the gates by ten, Camel restraints are made quite clear: the how, the where, the when. No one should touch a winged insect, no swatting pesky flies: "Pour apple cider on its head until the insect dies." Ripe cantaloupes must not be found within a garden's walls, Don't pluck an apple from the tree, but catch it when it falls. Read it yourself, don't take my word, I'm sure you'll all agree: We need to give more thought to Hezekiah 33.

Rose for Mother
Another Mother's Day is here, Bringing joy and pleasure new. On this special day, Mother dear, I want to remember you.
I cannot give you costly gifts, And I've told you this before, No matter what I give you, You give back much, much more.
I'm giving you a pure, sweet rose, Gathered in the early morn, This rose you planted in my heart, The day that I was born.
In kindly, loving thoughts of you, And with the faith you still impart, The rose I give to you today Is the love that's in my heart.

The Urine test (This was written by a rig worker in the North Sea - What he says makes a lot of sense!) I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay cheque, I work on a rig for a drilling contractor. I am required to pass a random urine test for drugs and alcohol, with which I have no problem.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a benefits cheque because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand that I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their arse, drinking booze, smoking dope and generally taking all kinds of drugs.
Could you imagine how much money the government would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a benefit cheque? Please pass this along if you agree or simply delete it if you don't. Hope you will pass it along though, because something has to change in the UK , and soon!

Friendship is a Golden Chain, The links are friends so dear, And like a rare and precious jewel It's treasured more each year... It's clasped together firmly With a love that's deep and true, And it's rich with happy memories and fond recollections, too...
Time can't destroy its beauty For, as long as memory lives, Years can't erase the pleasure That the joy of friendship gives... For friendship is a priceless gift That can't be bought or sold, But to have an understanding friend Is worth far more than gold... And the Golden Chain of Friendship Is a strong and blessed tie Binding kindred hearts together As the years go passing by.

The Quitter
Fate handed the quitter a bump, and he dropped; The road seemed too rough to go, so he stopped. He thought of his hurt, and there came to his mind The easier path he was leaving behind.
Oh, it's all much too hard, said the quitter right then; I'll stop where I am and not try it again. He sat by the road and he made up his tale To tell when men asked why he happened to fail.
A thousand excuses flew up to his tongue, And these on the thread of his story he strung, But the truth of the matter he didn't admit; He never once said, I was frightened and quit.
Whenever the quitter sits down by the road And drops from the struggle to lighten his load, He can always recall to his own peace of mind A string of excuses for falling behind;
But somehow or other he can't think of one Good reason for battling and going right on. Oh, when the bump comes and fate hands you a jar, Don't baby yourself, boy, whoever you are;
Don't pity yourself and talk over your woes; Don't think up excuses for dodging the blows. But stick to the battle and see the thing through. And don't be a quitter, whatever you do.

The Journey2 Ships are not built for the harbor, surely in life there is more. The journey is what brings fulfillment to a life that is worth living for.
From the heart comes the hope of the present, from memories dreams from the past. From the soul comes the spirit of living, from experience lessons that last.
Look ahead to see where you are going, look behind to see where you have been. Look inside to discover your purpose, then let your life’s voyage begin.
Take care as you sail to your future. Share kindness with people you meet. Take heart in the oceans you conquer, till your journey through life is complete.
And when your life’s voyage is over, when your sun starts to set in the sea, pass on to the next generation the joy that the journey can be.

End Of The Day
Is anybody happier because you passed this way?
Does anyone remember that you spoke to them today?
The day is almost over, and its' toiling time is through.
Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?
Can you say tonight in parting with the day that's slipping fast,
That you helped a single person of the many that you passed?
Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said?
Does one whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead?
Did you waste the day or use it? Was it well or sorely spent?
Did you leave a trail of kindness, or a scar of discontent?
As you close your eyes in slumber, do you think that God will say:
"You have earned one more tomorrow by what you did today?"

Blessings
"Forget about the days when it's been cloudy, but don't forget your hours in the sun.
Forget about the times you've been defeated, but don't forget the victories you've won.
Forget about the mistakes that you can't change now, but don't forget the lessons.
Forget about the misfortunes you've encountered, but don't forget the times your luck has turned.
Forget about the days when you've been lonely, but don't forget the friendly smiles you've seen....
Forget about the plans that didn't seem to work out right, but don't forget to always have a dream."

Train Of Life
Some folks ride the train of life Looking out the rear, Watching miles of life roll by, And marking every year.
They sit in sad remembrance, Of wasted days gone by, And curse their life for what it was, And hang their head and cry.
But I don't concern myself with that, I took a different vent, I look forward to what life holds, And not what has been spent.
So strap me to the engine, As securely as I can be, I want to be out on the front, To see what I can see.
I want to feel the winds of change, Blowing in my face, I want to see what life unfolds, As I move from place to place.
I want to see what's coming up, Not looking at the past, Life's too short for yesterdays, It moves along too fast.
So if the ride gets bumpy, While you are looking back, Go up front, and you may find, Your life has jumped the track.
It's all right to remember, That's part of history, But up front's where it's happening, There's so much mystery.
The enjoyment of living, Is not where we have been, It's looking ever forward, To another year and ten.
It's searching all the byways, Never should you refrain, For if you want to live your life, You gotta drive the train.

The Friend Who Stands By
When troubles come your soul to try You love the friend who just stands by. Perhaps there's nothing he or she can do The thing is strictly up to you.
For there are troubles all your own And paths the soul must tread alone. Times when love can't smooth the road Nor friendship lift the heavy load.
But just to feel you have a friend Who will stand by until the end. Whose sympathy through all endures Whose warm handclasp is always yours.
It helps somehow to pull you through Although there's nothing he or she can do. And so with fervent heart we cry . . . God Bless the friend who just stands by.

Little
Little stones make big mountains, Little steps can cover miles, Little acts of loving-kindness Give the world it's biggest smiles
Little words can soothe big troubles Little hugs can dry big tears, Little candles light the darkness, Little memories last for years
Little dreams can lead to greatness, Little victories to success~ It's the little things in life That brings the greatest happiness
When I think about all the little things, warm thoughts of you always come to mind All the joy that friendship brings, always and forever sharing it online.

Will Rogers
Will Rogers, who died in a plane crash with Wylie Post in 1935, was probably the greatest political sage this country has ever known. Enjoy the following:
Never slap a man who's chewing tobacco.
Never kick a cow chip on a hot day.
There are 2 theories to arguing with a woman...neither works.
Never miss a good chance to shut up.
Always drink upstream from the herd.
If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it and put it back in your pocket.
There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
If you're riding' ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it's still there.
Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier'n puttin' it back.
After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.
ABOUT GROWING OLDER . . . First ~ Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.
Second ~ The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
Third ~ Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
Fourth ~ When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, think of Algebra.
Fifth ~ You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.
Sixth ~ I don't know how I got over the hill without getting to the top.
Seventh ~ One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young.
Eighth ~ One must wait until evening to see how splendid the day has been
Ninth ~ Being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.
Tenth ~ Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was called witchcraft. Today it's called golf.
And finally ~ If you don't learn to laugh at trouble, you won't have anything to laugh at when you are old.

Daily Wish
My daily wish is that we may See good in those who pass our way;
Find in each a worthy trait That we shall gladly cultivate;
See in each one passing by The better things that beautify
A softly spoken word of cheer, A kindly face, a smile sincere.
I pray each day that we may view The things that warm one's heart anew;
The kindly deed that can't be bought That only from good are wrought,
A burden lightened here and there, A brother lifted from despair,
The aged ones freed from distress; The lame, the sick, brought happiness.
Grant that before each sun has set We'll witness deeds we can't forget;
A soothing hand to one in pain, A sacrifice for love - not gain;
A word to ease the troubled mind Of one whom fate has dealt unkind.
So, friend, my wish is that we may See good in all who pass our way.

An Interesting Story in Bankstown and Auburn SYDNEY
Local Lebanese and Asian leaders there are upset at the the Liberal Party for threatening to send back the illegal boat people and to restrict Immigration . So last weekend they boycotted all Australian owned businesses in the Sydney area as a demonstration of their economic impact on the community. The boycott was declared a success by the Leb communities, noting that revenue in Aussie owned businesses was down by 19%.
However Aussie business owners also declared the boycott a success , pointing out that shoplifting was reduced by 77%, money orders sent out of the country were down by 97%, the cost of daily clean-up and trash collection was down by 84%. Shoppers reported that they could actually hear English being spoken throughout the community for the first time in recent memory, and customers actually paid for purchases with real money, not government debit cards or fake credit cards.

Always Remember
Always remember to forget The things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember The things that made you glad.
Always remember to forget The friends that proved untrue.
But don't forget to remember Those that have stuck by you.
Always remember to forget The troubles that have passed away.
But never forget to remember The blessings that come each day.
"Good people will be remembered as a blessing, but the wicked will soon be forgotten." Proverbs 10:7
