None, because apart from the tallest, each one is shorter and therefore won't shake! I so nearly wrote 45, but I thought there'd be a catch, so gave it a little extra thought. Answer Zero, because a taller person wants to shake hands with a shorter person. But the shorter person doesn't want to shake hands with him.

Many call me The Man with the Axe But I'm not a violent man I am the ruler (though some challenge the facts) of a minor, yet important, clan. I am not a sailor at sea on a ship, yet a deck is where I can be found. People say I am a girl's best friend, but not when my Queen is around! I am usually seen on a Bicycle's front, but I can neither peddle nor steer. I become even stronger if I am named Trump. Have I made my identity clear?

Must be the King of Diamonds, although how that relates to a bicycle, I am at a loss... Answer I am the King of Diamonds in a standard deck of playing cards. In case of any questions... The King of Diamonds holds a large axe over his shoulder. Some may argue that an Ace is the top rank of a suit. In bridge, clubs and diamonds are minor suits. There is a cliche, Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend Bicycle is a popular brand of playing card In bridge, the trump suit beats any card from other suits

My first is simply a vegetable, delicious, round and green. My third and fourth are sound asleep, as plainly can be seen. My fifth is fifty, clear enough for any riddle-setter. Two of my second stacked on their sides will give my final letter. Now that my second has my parts, fit them together well. You see me now before your eyes; it's plain for all to tell.

Boudreaux, a master dartsman, was bragging to his bar mates that he was such a consummate player, he could hit the dartboard in any location at will. "I'll wager a hundred dollars that, no matter what position you name on the board, I'll be able to hit it." Thibedeaux, tired of Boudreaux's windbaggery, shouted out an answer. Boudreaux stammered for a few moments and at first refused to pay. The other bar patrons, however, made sure he held up his end of the wager. Boudreaux slammed a hundred dollar bill on the counter and stormed out. Where on the dartboard did Thibedeaux suggest?

My story whispers ancient lore; The force at times my rings will hide. I've sixty minions, maybe more: Those unseen, these by my side. Wand'ring far from glowing light, Shape-shifting puzzles curious eyes; Oft my glorious rings shine bright, While men debate my family's size. My aspect seems to wax and wane, As the force dictates the deed; My namesake ruled vast fields of grain, But, legends tell, devoured his seed. What am I?

Saturn
|
|
|
Post by Kimmy on Apr 25, 2020 8:56:38 GMT
Answer Answer: The planet Saturn Saturn is named after the Roman god of the harvest. When the force of gravity causes Earth's orbit to take us into the plane of Saturn's rings, they seem to disappear, and the shape of the planet appears to change. Most of Saturn's 60 or more moons are visible only through strong telescopes. The sixth planet from the Sun in the Solar System, Saturn receives little heat and light. There is still controversy about the number of planets in the "family" of the Solar System. With the demotion of Pluto, some say there are eight planets. However, counting Pluto and also the dwarf planets Eris and Ceres, others would say there are eleven known planets. As the god of the harvest, Saturn ruled over all agriculture. Because he feared his children were about to kill him, he devoured them.
